## What is Navigation Zero?

Navigation Zero by ILIOFOS Industrial & Marine is the professional design tool for electric and hybrid boat propulsion — from the first estimate to the quotation you hand your client.

Enter the boat's details and the app finds the motor, the battery bank and the peripherals, works out range and cost, and produces a complete PDF quotation.

PROPULSION DESIGN
• Match an electric motor to the existing combustion engine by torque equivalence
• Size from displacement and speed — or the other way round, from requirements: state what the boat must do and find what it takes
• Hull material on every screen: composite, aluminium, steel, plywood, solid wood, carbon — it changes weight, resistance and finally the motor
• Hybrid conversion: keep the combustion engine and add a motor with a battery — Transfluid mechanical subsystem, belt-drive solution, SAE check, gearbox reduction

PROPELLER AND RESISTANCE
• Propeller selection and design from open-water series, with nozzles and cavitation check
• Performance curve against rpm, and bollard pull
• Hull resistance with methods validated per category, plus appendages and air drag

ENERGY, RANGE, SAIL
• Route on a nautical chart with charging stops and a battery balance
• Solar, a range-extending generator and hotel loads
• Declare the rig and the sail counts in the trip energy; regeneration under sail returns energy to the battery
• Live electricity and fuel prices by region — the real saving, not the theoretical one

DEAS — BOAT ENERGY EFFICIENCY INDEX
An A–G energy rating from the CO₂ index, for electric and combustion boats alike, with a PDF certificate and QR code. Free for everyone.

TRADITIONAL WOODEN HULLS
Nine documented types — trechantiri, perama, tserniki, karavoskaro, liberty, gaita, papadia, varkalas — with proportions measured from naval architects' drawings and from real hulls. Give length and timber; you get dimensions, member-by-member weight and a timber supply list with two figures: what goes into the hull and what to order.

DOCUMENTATION FOR TECHNICAL REVIEW
The quotation can carry a technical annex with the methods used, the standards they rest on and their stated limits — for a classification society, a naval architect or a surveyor.

• Fix: every plan now shows exactly the price your store charges, in your own currency. On Android, the Integrators tier showed an amount that differed from the one at checkout.

• New: the “High-speed craft classification” card shows whether the boat stops being a high-speed craft after the conversion — and then no operator licence is needed.
• New: the app icon shows unread notifications; tapping a new-version one takes you straight to the store, and pulling down refreshes the list.

• Fix: an offer or certificate you deleted could come back on the next sync.

• New: the update notice now comes straight from the store — you hear about a new version as soon as it is out.
• Fix: “Restore purchases” always answers — tier restored, no purchase found for this account, or store not responding.
• New: the DEAS certificate registry records the engine identity — both engines when they differ.
