## What is Navigo Transport?

Navigo is an offline-first campus transit app built for Wits University students.

Plan your shuttle journey across campus, check nearby departures, set reminders before your bus leaves, and stay informed about service alerts — even when your signal is weak or unavailable.

What you can do:

• Plan Wits shuttle journeys
Find a route from where you are to where you need to be. Compare options by fastest trip, less walking, or fewer transfers.

• Use the app offline
Routes, timetables and stop information are stored on your phone, so key journey planning features continue to work without an internet connection.

• Check nearby departures
Open the app to find the closest stops near you and see upcoming departures, sorted by walking distance and timing.

• Set smart reminders
Choose how many minutes before departure you want to be reminded, so you can leave on time and avoid missing your bus.

• View service alerts
Receive updates about delays, disruptions or important campus transport notices through clear in-app alerts and notifications.

• Follow your route on the map
View your selected journey on the map with bus routes, walking paths and a stop-by-stop timeline.

• Use Campus Lost and Found
Post lost items with a photo or browse items that other students have found.

• Contact campus security quickly
Access campus security from your dashboard when you need help.

How it works:

1. Sign in with your Wits student number and confirm the one-time code sent to your student email.
2. Choose where you want to go and whether you are leaving now, leaving later, or arriving by a specific time.
3. Compare your route options and view the full journey on the map.
4. Set a reminder and catch your shuttle with more confidence.

Navigo is designed to make Wits campus travel simpler, safer and more reliable. The app is free to use, with no ads or hidden costs.

Plan smarter. Walk less. Never miss the campus bus again.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-22

See what's coming, at any stop.
Tap a bus stop on the map to see exactly what calls there (every route, when it runs, and the last bus of the day) pulled straight from the official Wits published schedule.

Also in this update:
• Bus stops are bigger, clearer, and labelled with their stop code
• Fixed a bug where live buses could briefly appear to drive backwards

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-19

Buses now follow the roads on the map instead of drifting off them, and they point the way they're actually driving.

Moved the map away from yourself? Tap the new button to snap back to your location.

Signing in is less annoying. Go fetch your code from your email and the app holds your place, even if it closes. You can paste the code now too.

Added Send Feedback to the menu. Tell us what's broken or what you want next.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-17

Improved layout and bug fixes.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-10

Improved live shuttle tracking, arrival estimates, journey planning, and trip reminders. This update also enhances service alerts, Lost & Found, offline reliability, map performance, and overall app stability.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-21

Bug fixes - Card pop-up placement issues resolved. Bus icons enlarge on tap. Duplicate stop predictions resolved.
