Sheltered from the Meltemi by a small headland. Anchored in 4m in sand / seaweed outside the swimming - good holding. Two beach bars where you can grab an evening snacks. Watch out for the submarine cables (the position is marked by the white sign on the shore ). The sea grass to be avoided is obvious. Quiet and mainly sheltered storm south winds (not perfect protection but not bad) ### 5/5 — Go to App for Sailing *2026-06-05* This is my go to app even when I’m not on the water and I’m planning next year’s multi month itinerary. It has all the reviews and distances and recommendations to create a gorgeous itinerary. Went on the ocean. I consulted daily for mooring conditions and best spots to pull into. It makes even the average sailor a pro. ### 3/5 — Neueste Version auf iPad Müll *2026-06-04* Bewertungen werden auf iPad nur noch in einem schmalen Fenster angezeigt. Das mag auf einem iPhone ok sein, aber auf einem iPad ist das einfach nur Müll. Zumal Texte teilweise abgeschnitten werden. Schon mal was von adaptivem UI Design gehört ? Vorher ging es doch auch Vernünftig. Man muss nicht immer alles kaputtpatchen was funktioniert hat. Bitte schnell wieder ändern!! We really appreciate the wealth of knowledge left by fellow cruisers. The wind/swell forecast is usually spot on. ### 5/5 — Lovely anchorage (29 May 26) *2026-05-29, version 6.1.0* As others have mentioned, the pontoon is not present. Two guys come out and offer their free moorings line for anchor and line ashore. Guess they would want you to eat at the restaurant. We opted to just anchor. Es stimmt meist alles! Auch die Bewertungen der Segelfamilie ist meist sachlich und hilfreich! Das einzige was man anmerken kann ist, dass einige Ankerstellen als Ankerplatz ausgewiesen obwohl das Ankern verboten ist. Ich glaube, da werde ich bald die Premiumlizenz kaufen. ### 5/5 — Klasse App *2026-04-26* Die App ist toll, ich nutze sie seit mehr als 3-4 Jahren. Was ich schade finde, dass es keine weiteren Markier Möglichkeiten gibt. Lediglich Anker, Hafen und Boje sind im Angebot und viele davon sind falsch gesetzt weil ahnungslose die App bedienen. Man sollte die Möglichkeit haben diese zu melden um die Karte langfristig zu korrigieren. Außerdem sollte man die Gelegenheit nutzen und Videos zulassen die z.b die Bucht aus Luft und 360^ zeigen.. aber generell bin ich fein. Upgraded to get protection forecasts which is useful. Still trying to figure out the color coding. The beach bar was shut on both occasions and the bay was empty. Got joining instructions via email the day before. On areival we were told they do not accept bookings and to leave. I showed them my booking and email - they consulted the manager and told us we were to leave. Complete joke and waste of time. ### 1/5 — Navily *2024-05-27, version 5.34.1* Just brought this it’s very cluttered and difficult to use ### 1/5 — No Coverage in United States *2023-03-22* This app is totally useless for any mariners in the United States. I attempted to search for any inputs covering the entire Chesapeake Bay and surrounding areas which includes Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC and New Jersey. I found no information inputs. I did not verify these details before I subscribed to their premium version. I have asked their customer service for a refund on my subscription. Sounds like it could be good but it relies on us to fill in the information. There are so many other apps that do this and add so much value with additional navigation features. I mean no disrespect with this review but as the consumer, I feel very cheated. **Developer response:** Hi, I understand you're not happy with your purchase. Over 100 NM only see a few anchoring spots with max 1 review. As a Premium user you can turn ads off in the settings of the app. Go in profile > settings > advertising and turn ads off ;) Let us know if you don't find it. ### 2/5 — Weather not accurate *2022-12-30, version 5.18.3* A good app for Anchorage and for which winds but the weather/wind forecasts are not accurate. App does not show current time in destination. I had to rely on other apps for correct wind forecast. Pretty disappointing ### 2/5 — Very disappointing *2022-05-28, version 5.17.1* It looked so promising that I bough it but the paid version is a huge letdown. Offline maps take forever to download (over 24h for 40Mb despite having a perfect 4G connection) and using them offline you don’t get access to the key information : for which wind/swell does it offer good protections!?! Stick to the free online version ### 2/5 — Great app BUT.., *2021-09-07, version 5.15* Great up for finding anchorages with updated info in the reviews left by users. HOWEVER, the Marina booking feature unfortunately is flawed because the price of the berths showed in the app seem to have a big markup. Also put into wind mode and you can filter the anchorages by protection. A great app - the integration with savvy navvy is brilliant as well. Wind was light to moderate NE to SE during our stay and south of the harbour was as peaceful as any anchorage we have been to. No seals this time of year. Beaucoup de restaurants sympas , une boucherie un pharmacie et des petits supermarchés. Nous avons passé plusieurs nuits tranquilles au mouillage puis au port loin de la foule.
