### 2/5 — Not as good as earlier

I am using this app from many many years now (almost 7 years). It used to be a great app. House numbers search was a great and unique feature. Maps were quite good and accurate. The good ends here: Now the map updates are minimal. Last update was in Oct 2020. Map data is outdated. Doesn’t show accurate routes now as many new roads, flyovers intersections, U turns are missing from the map. Many POI not available on the map. The App is outdated too. Old design, difficult to read small fonts etc. I used to follow these maps over Google. But now even Apple maps and Sygic maps have overtaken this map. In India Apple uses data from ‘Map my India’ only. However, Apple Maps provide much more detailed and accurate results with better route suggestions and correct time of travel. Also they don’t have Apple car play feature.  I think lot of catch up is required by Navi maps to be in competition.

I gave above review almost more than a year back. I wonder if the app is still being maintained. The App Store says it has been updated a year back. I’ll request developers to let us know so that we can decide whether to rely on this app or not. Indian roads are changing very fast. New highways,  flyovers are being introduced frequently. It’s important to have an updated app specially in India.

Have downloaded the India and Tamilnadu map and switched on the Gps but still it is showing turn on location services since the data connection is off id data connection is ON then only its working also voice commands not working no other map options like Gmap

I just started using this app.  Very nice integration done to traffic management and speed control.  I want to suggest the improvement - The navigation interface linked to my car does not provide me to type in the location for searching. If this is available, then it should help me type in lo a as I want.

Today I have to change my route because of diversion at the route due to water pipeline work. Can we ask user to provide feedback if they are changing the route especially to check if they are forced to change the route. If yea can we ensure not to propose and show red indication for future vehicles and retry the route after 24 hours or some frequency.

Dear Mapmyindia..I have been a loyal customer of Mapmyindia Road Pilot-II since 2012 to till date & have also been a premium/lifetime member of navi maps (mobile version since 2021) though till date I didn’t face any trouble however after the latest upgrade to navi map (mobile) version my navi map app is not functioning at all..kindly sort out the issue ..I feel disheartened as I paid fees for lifetime and can’t use services even for two years
