## What is Navman MiVue Pro?

Navman MiVUE PRO Companion and Dash Cam App offers the following features:

MiCam GPS Series:
Destination Search and Send to MiCam: 
Search addresses before you get in the car and send to your MiCam when you are ready to start your trip.

Live Traffic:
Check the traffic on your phone before you get in your vehicle to plan ahead and avoid any traffic jams along the way. Supports the Live Traffic feature on MiCam.

Smartphone Notifications:
Enables the smartphone notifications feature so you can access incoming messages safely from your MiCam and have them read aloud to you.
 
Mileage Report Download:
Record the kilometres driven for your selected trips on your MiCam and produce organised reports of your trips quickly and easily via the MiVUE Pro Companion App on your smartphone.


MiVUE Dash Cam Series:

One-Click Event Video Backup:
Press the Event backup button on your MiVUE Dash Cam to create an event video clip of the current recording for instant backup to your smartphone.

1. The backup will capture a 20-second video of footage occurring before and after the press of the Event backup button.

2. The video clip will automatically be transferred to your mobile device when your Navman MiVUE PRO App is launched and connected via WiFi.

You can transfer video clips recorded by your MiVUE Dash Cam to your mobile device via WiFi connection and share them with your family and friends on various social networking platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. *Selected models only

Does not connect with my Mivue 860DC. Have tried resetting my device and connecting multiple times. Using the latest version of your app and also on iPhone 14 latest IOS.

I have 2 sets of cameras one is the Alta and the other is mivue pro 4K and neither will connect with the app. I have tried all the troubleshooting but nothing has worked. Please fix connectivity issue with iOS. The idea of the app is easy access but having to hook the cameras up to a computer to update them or get video off them defeats the purpose and not everyone has a computer these days.

Difficult and cumbersome to use. I purchased a Navman Mivue rider DC helmet camera because I thought I would have good quality hardware and app! Hardware seems to work well so far. The app is cumbersome lags and often hangs. Live view hangs most of the time especially switching between front and rear camera views! Easier to download recordings to view. But even this the app hangs or is very slow to respond. Updated the firmware but it keeps asking to update even after a number of attempts that said it was successful. Also, cannot see the battery charge level in the app, something so basic and necessary on a device with no screen!! Come on  Navman, surely you can do better than this….. I hope, if not this will be the last one I buy!!

### 3/5 — It’s good once you set it up.. but it’s really hard to figure out

The first few times I witnessed something and wanted to get on the app, it was physically impossible for me to connect my dashcam to the app.. I tried for ages and I always just had to hope that it would connect and stay connected. Then I later realised I have to unconnect my car from carplay in order for the my wifi/app to connect to the dashcam footage. It’s kind of a nuisance, and nothing in the manual says you have to do that.
