Time based IFR/VFR conditions at in-route airports. Radar images don’t load. ### 4/5 — Nice Weather App *2020-01-05* The one enhancement that would make this a five star app would be the addition of SkewTLog functionality for a particular location and along the route of travel. ### 4/5 — Very nice looking app *2018-08-10* At face value, this app looks like it has a lot to offer. I’m going to try to focus on it for pre-flight wx scouting and see how I like it versus some others I already use. This one looks like it has great potential though. May come back and add a star if it pans out. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Seems to be dead *2025-03-05* As of now 4 March 2025 22:35 (UTC-8), the data have not been updated in 24 days. I have switched to the app Metar-Taf which requires a one-time payment. (I am not affiliated with that app other than as a user.) This is disappointing as NavMonster was refreshingly simple, quick, and reliable. I hope it comes back some day. ### 1/5 — App no longer works *2024-01-08* I used to use the app regularly but over the past several months it’s become unusable mainly due to none of the Prog Charts being viewable. I no longer use this app and instead use the online website. ### 1/5 — Hmmm *2023-03-11* I think this may have been developed for simmers and only ‘flying’ in the US. I typed in the local international airport and it wasn’t recognised. I then tried Heathrow and it gave me TAFs for Waco. ### 2/5 — METAR issue *2025-03-09* METARs all show as 28 days old. Based on the metar text they are all actually about 1 day old. Not much value. ### 2/5 — Latest FAA update broke the app *2023-10-19* Broken by AWC update, October 2023. Thank you! ### 3/5 — Stopped working *2025-03-26* I used to love this app, but it recently stopped working and won’t update weather ### 3/5 — Error message *2023-10-19* “Problem parsing w Server” keeps popping up. There is no way to contact support or to try to fix it. Have removed and redownload it rebooted iPad no help. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Great app, but deteriorating *2021-10-16* This app makes a lot of weather info easily accessible in a phone-friendly format to a GA pilot prior to acquiring a FSS briefing. My only requests would be (1) fix radar images not loading so I don’t have to go elsewhere for them, (2) fix TFRs, and (3) allow maps and prog charts to rotate for landscape viewing flexibility.
