## What is NavShip?

Always on course with NavShip. Travel on more than 580,000 kilometers of waterways across all over the world, especially Europe and North America. Whether inland, sea or coast - with this app you're always on the safe side.

Something for everyone:
Suitable for motorboats, sailing boats and rowing boats, the sailing area can be adapted to all possible types of boat.

Your advantages:
Dock-to-dock route planning, live weather data, wind, tides, clearance heights, marinas, anchorages and berths, inland shipping news, slip ramps, AIS, water levels, water filling stations - from now on you only need one app. NavShip also takes the flow speeds of many bodies of water into account when planning your trip and warns you if it is not possible to travel with your boat.

Note:
This app should only be used as additional support. Please pay attention to your surroundings and follow the usage instructions in the app and on the website. Please note that some rivers and seas may not be included yet. Please use the contact form in the app menu (Report a bug) to request a new waterway and we will implement it as soon as possible.

Free trial:
You can try NavShip for free for 7 full days. We use ads and limit your routes to 40km, or recordings to 8km, unless you purchase a premium version.

Premium:
In-app purchase possible to unlock additional features, e.g. wind and weather data or tide table. We offer subscription packages for one week, one month, three months and one year.

Subscriptions:
NavShip Premium includes auto-renewing subscriptions for 1, 3 and 12 months, which you can add on as an option. Free use is also possible. The app contains subscriptions that require a fee to purchase. When you purchase such a subscription, your iTunes account will be charged. You can cancel self-renewing subscriptions at any time in your account settings. The premium functions unlock the entire premium scope of NavShip for 1, 3 or 12 months. Unless you cancel your subscription 24 hours before the end of the period, your iTunes account will be charged the corresponding purchase price 24 hours in advance. Die App ist jeden Cent wert. Die einfache und innovative Bedienung macht es auch Laien einfach zu navigieren. Die fehlenden Tiefenangaben stören mich nicht, da wechselnde Pegelstände immer aktuell kontrolliert werden müssen.

Es ist Mitte März, die Vorbereitungen zur neuen Saison laufen. Bisher habe ich mein altes Navi aus dem PKW benutzt, irgendwie braucht man ja eine Übersicht. Nun wollte ich aber eine richtige App dafür nutzen. Schließlich bin ich hier gelandet. Erstmal macht diese App einen guten Eindruck. Hatte mich schon gefreut. Ich sollte dann ein Fahrgebiet aktivieren, ok, habe ich gemacht. Donnerwetter! Sieben Tage lang kann ich die App jetzt kostenlos testen. Na das ist ja mal was. Blöd nur, ich sitze mit meinem Boot noch auf dem Trocknen. Wäre es nicht hilfreich zu fragen, ob man jetzt eine kostenlose Probezeit beginnen möchte? Ich hätte mir das nämlich gerne für die Zeit aufgehoben, wenn das Boot im Wasser wäre.
Was ich aber nicht hinbekommen habe, ist die Möglichkeit die App mittels Carplay auf einem Bildschirm anzuzeigen. Offenbar ist die App nicht kompatibel. Lässt sich das möglicherweise ändern?

wir haben unsere Firmenpolitik geändert, du kannst die App in der kostenlosen Basisversion nun zeitlich unbegrenzt nutzen.


Leider ist Apple der Ansicht, dass die App für CarPlay nicht geeignet ist. Über diese Entscheidung können wir uns leider nicht hinwegsetzen; wir hatten Anfang des Jahres nochmal einen neuen Antrag gestellt, dieser blieb leider unbeantwortet. Falls du mehr hierzu erfahren willst, kann ich das per Email (support@navship.org) erläutern.

Ich verwende NavShip schon seit drei Jahren privat für die Navigation und Routenerstellung. Bis jetzt war es immer sehr zuverlässig und hat einen guten Dienst gemacht. Ich kann die App weiterempfehlen.

Die App hat mir sehr geholfen.
Jetzt noch besser, dank Einblendung der nächsten POI‘s.
Super: Karte von Google mit allen Einträgen wie: Tankstellen ( sogar mit Preisen), Restaurants, etc.
Der Support lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Rückmeldung spätestens am folgenden Werktag.

Die App funktioniert grundlegend und hilft bei der Orientierung und Routenplanung. Bei Navigation funktioniert sie nicht wirklich gut. Sie stürzt regelmäßig ab (es lässt sich nicht mehr scrollen), die Route aktualisiert sich nicht im Hintergrund sondern nur bei erneutem öffnen, die Controls (z.B. aktive Route beenden) oder ob gerade eine Route läuft ist umständlich und unübersichtlich gelöst. Auch der Kompass (Orientierung des kleinen Boots) hat eigentlich nie ganz gepasst.

Plane mit der App perfekt und sogar satellitengenau meine ganzen Ruder-Wanderfahrten. Wenn mal was nicht klappt hilft der technische Support sofort. Besten zu empfehlen 👏

Die Web Version hat sehr viele Fehler wenn man Zwischenpunkte benutzt. In der App fehlt die Möglichkeit Zwischenpunkte zu verschieben, bzw neue Punkte einzuordnen. Immerhin ist der Support sehr gut.

Getestet erstmals im Gebiet Havel-Müritz im Wechsel zwischen iPhone und iPad. 

Umfangreiche Funktionen, eine gewisse Einarbeitung ist nötig, aber relativ intuitiv machbar. Navigation mit dem iPhone sehr gut, Geschwindigkeitsanzeige, Routing problemlos. Auf dem iPad (naturgemäß) übersichtlichere Darstellung, aber GPS-Routing nicht immer ohne Hakeln. 

Insgesamt eine tolle App. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der freundliche, schnelle Support. Vorbildlich! 

Was ich mir noch wünschen würde, wären Tiefenangaben, wie manche Marktbegleiter sie anbieten.

Top Routenberechnung, Daten sind gut aufbereitet und (zumindest in meinem Gebiet) komplett. Hab mir nun auch endlich die Premiumversion gegönnt

Wir waren auf der Müritz-Havel unterwegs. 
Das Programm fand ich relativ gut zu bedienen und Navigationsdaten passten. Die Brücken, die Wasserrouten, Gefahrenstellen, gesperrte Bereiche, Schleusen usw. wurden sehr genau und gut dargestellt. Habe die günstige ein wöchige Premium Version genutzt. Allerdings lief das Programm nur auf dem iPhone stabil. Auf dem iPad wollte es einfach nicht richtig und das GPS machte Probleme. Trotzdem würde ich es wieder verwenden. Hatte zum Vergleich zwei andere Apps probiert, die kosteten einiges mehr und die waren nicht so gut!
