Thank you for your feedback! We understand this is an issue for UK drivers. We're planning to increase the maximum vehicle height supported in a future update to better accommodate taller vehicles used in the UK. Thank you for helping us improve NavXL!
No use due to height limit of 4.5m

Thank you for your feedback. The 4.5 m limit is intentional. NavXL is designed for standard truck operations, and we currently restrict vehicle height to 4.5 m to avoid giving drivers a false sense of security beyond the range for which height restrictions are commonly mapped and signposted across Europe. Safety is our priority, and we prefer not to allow higher values if we cannot be fully confident that all relevant restrictions will be consistently represented in the routing data. That said, we would be very interested to learn more about your operation. If your 4.88 m / 4.95 m trailers are considered standard HGVs rather than special or abnormal loads, please contact us at support@nav-xl.com. Pas mal dans l’ensemble
Il faudrait aussi que les routes barrées, travaux et autres incidents soient mis à jour en direct, un peu comme sur Waze. Par exemple, récemment le GPS voulait absolument me faire passer par une route qui était finalement barrée, mais ce n’était pas indiqué dans l’application. Du coup il insistait pour que je prenne cette route alors qu’elle était inaccessible.

Bonjour et merci beaucoup pour votre retour constructif. Nous sommes heureux que vous appréciiez globalement NavXL. Concernant certains itinéraires parfois plus complexes, la navigation Poids Lourd doit prendre en compte de nombreuses contraintes (gabarit, restrictions PL, ADR, interdictions locales…), ce qui peut parfois conduire à des choix différents d’un GPS VL classique. Vous avez également raison concernant les routes barrées et travaux. Nous intégrons déjà des données trafic et incidents dynamiques, mais certaines fermetures temporaires peuvent encore manquer ou remonter trop tardivement. Nous travaillons activement à améliorer ce point ainsi que le comportement du recalcul lorsqu’une route devient inaccessible. Merci encore pour votre aide et vos remarques, elles nous permettent de continuer à faire évoluer NavXL dans le bon sens.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. You can really help us improve the app by sending answers to support@nav-XL.com : Do you have cases in the UK where the restriction sign is above 4.5m ? Can you confirm that if you choose MPH, you still get the voice announcing distances in KMH ? Also, what do you mean by the voice being annoying (do you mean the tone ?) Many thanks for your answers, and any improvement suggestions you may have.
Nicht zu empfehlen
Doch 3 Monate später ist davon nicht mehr viel übrig geblieben. Ich dachte, es liegt an der kostenlosen Version und kaufte die monatlich kündbare Premiumvision. Da war zwar dann keine Werbung mehr, aber sonst das gleiche. Schade, es wäre so schön gewesen…
