### 4/5 — Great app!

*2026-08-11, version 4.2*

Amazing honestly, it’s really helped me with noticing bad habits and resetting
I have seen a massive improvement with scrolling
My only suggestion would be a bit more detailed analysis of the stats
E.g. which app we’re using the most, for how long, how many times we clicked to open it in a day etc

### 4/5 — Apps

*2026-07-12, version 4.2*

Wish I could lock more apps and stuff but overall this is a really good app!!! Even though I just downloaded it I have a feeling it’ll help out in the long run in my life:)

### 5/5 — Best Screen Time App!

*2026-06-17, version 4.1*

This is by far the best screen time app I have ever downloaded. It makes it annoying to open the apps and is strict on the time you spend. I really recommend this app to anyone who is struggling with social media addiction.

### 4/5 — my change in focus

*2026-06-14, version 4.1*

Lately i've been scrolling endlessly, even when i know i have extremely important exams coming up, so I urgently needed to change my ways in order to prioritise studying to get the grades I wanted. I use naze for tiktok and it has significantly decreased my screen time on tiktok (I don't pay for the extras) , and even without paying, it has had a very positive impact on my time priorities. when I feel like opening tiktok, just the darkened tiktok makes me put my phone down and go back to what I had to do like send a massage to my mum.
However, one thing I would like to see being changed is maybe adding two apps for free instead of only one, and the "good screen time" to be based off how long you've used your phone because I used it for 6 hours once and it said well done? i'm not sure about that but otherwise this app is amazing!!

### 5/5 — Wow

*2026-05-26, version 3.3*

This is the only thing I’ve found that’s worked.

### 5/5 — decreased my screen time by more than half

*2026-04-20, version 3.3*

i honestly love this app! helps me from mindlessly scrolling. i’ve reduced my screen time so much!

### 5/5 — Perfect Design

*2026-04-20, version 3.3*

Puts the pressure on me (where it belongs) to kick my addiction.

### 5/5 — Amazing app!! Great customer service

*2026-04-16, version 3.3*

Naze has helped me so much with my tik tok addiction! Now the time I spend on it is intentional and deliberate and I haven’t doom scrolled at all since using the app. I can focus better and have more time to do more productive things. I had an issue with the membership with a double payment and Mikhail was extremely helpful - thank you 🫶🏼

### 4/5 — Satisfactory but in need of slight tweaking

*2026-04-13, version 3.3*

I like this app as it has most definitely helped me decrease my screen time significantly, but my main complaints are the inability to add more apps/websites to lock list that don't show up in the categories section, and a glitch with the "what's new" tab where it appears slightly zoomed in and cuts off some of the words.
But overall a good app that has improved my life in a positive manner.

### 5/5 — Круто

*2026-04-09, version 3.3*

Отличное приложение

### 5/5 — great!

*2026-04-03, version 3.3*

reduced my screen time by over half, great app!

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2026-04-02, version 3.3*

I really like it. I unfortunately have Gen Z screen addiction. You do have to go in with intention, as the settings are easy to override and keep renewing for 20 minute periods of doomscrolling. However, I appreciate the added step of renewing my time limit as I often it’s not worth opening another app and is a nice reminder to put my phone down.

### 5/5 — Simple and smart

*2026-03-28, version 3.3*

I like it for not overloaded ux

### 5/5 — So good

*2026-03-09, version 3.3*

I can’t believe how easy it’s been to get off social media, I got this app about 3 weeks ago because I was literally doomscrolling all day everyday and since then have only been using socials to reply to messages. I have started reading books again and doing all the stuff I would avoid doing to sit on social media before. I can’t see me cancelling my subscription any time soon. Cant recommend enough ❤️

### 5/5 — Such a great app

*2026-02-13, version 3.2*

So far I hadn’t have to pay for anything super exciting to see how this works out

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Constantly logging out, useless

*2026-08-25, version 4.2*

This might be a useful app except for the fact that it constantly logs you out (daily or more), and to log back in you have to go through an insane number of “questionnaire” screens with engineered wait times.

I brought this to the “chat with a founder” and they said they’re aware of the issue. For a $60 app I’m beyond amazed that they have an issue of this proportion - should spend less on ads and more on user experience.

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2025-04-28, version 2.4*

Misleading because it acts like it’s free in the App Store, but a subscription is required

### 1/5 — lifetime free

*2025-01-13, version 0.2.7*

can’t find $0.00

### 1/5 — Fake advertising

*2025-01-12, version 0.2.7*

The lifetime offer that is like 0.00 does not exist to be purchased.

### 1/5 — App is Broken.

*2025-01-11, version 0.2.7*

App is Broken. On the screen where it says

"Naze" Would Like to Access
Screen Time
Providing "Naze" access to Screen Time may allow it to see your activity data, restrict content, and limit the usage of apps and websites.
Continue. Don't Allow.

it’s stuck there. please fix.

thanks.

### 2/5 — Good idea but failed execution for me

*2026-07-05, version 4.2*

I liked this app initially and really wanted to like it. I liked that it asked why you wanted to use an app and found it effective in blocking those actions. However I noticed it also labeled some helpful/normal apps as distracting and I found this disappointing as it takes away from real results and understanding of my whole distraction time as it says 100% of my time has been when it’s not. I wanted to like it but it fell short. Also the cost is just too high for what is such a simple app. They also always to sell you a new deal like it’s special but you see the same deals all the time. It’s disappointing I REALLY wanted to like this app and wanted it to work.

### 2/5 — Paywall

*2026-05-17, version 3.3*

Everythings behind a paywall. They make you go thru all the personalization steps and quizzes and give the good reviews and stuff just to have you get a tiny free trial but put your card info in so it’s easier to renew mindlessly.

### 2/5 — Interesting and had potential, but expensive

*2025-07-02, version 2.8*

I use this during the free trial and I found it interesting, but seems very expensive for what it is.

### 3/5 — Really useful but expensive

*2026-08-17, version 4.2*

Really great app, used the free trial and genuinely helps. Just seems quite expensive as there isn’t a huge amount to the app/lots of features

### 3/5 — Idiomas

*2026-02-24, version 3.3*

Creo que deberían ampliar los idiomas en los que está disponible la app y colocar más trabas como preguntas que te hagan pensar o sentir vergüenza o que sean fastidiosas jjj para que se te quiten las ganas de estar en la apps

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — No notes

*2026-08-12, version 4.2*

This app actually puts an obstacle in your way to be mindful about scroll time

### 5/5 — just what i was looking for!

*2026-08-11, version 4.2*

i love this app and especially the feature where you have to hold down on the reason you want to access whatever app you’ve locked. it gives my brain enough time to think “do i really need to check [insert social media app] for long?” and then i’m able to select a lower amount of time on the next screen.

the only problem i’ve come across is that when the time limit is up the screen shows a message with an “okay” button, and when i press that button i’m put back in the social media app and have full access to scroll 😅 i wish the okay button closed out of the app and put the lock back on it.

### 5/5 — Cut My Screen Time Down By Half

*2026-08-05, version 4.2*

If you’re a mindless scroller, this is the app for you. I keep Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram locked because those are the ones I scroll on most. Just by having these apps locked I’ve cut my screen time down from 8 hours a day to about 4. Having to mindfully unlock the apps really makes me stop and think about why I’m doing it. Plus, creating a time limit for your scrolling really makes you realize how fast that time goes by. Sure, I still have times where I go, ok 5 more minutes, 5 more minutes. But the extra step of thinking about why I’m opening the apps really helps me use them more mindfully. Love this app!

### 5/5 — Love this App

*2026-07-27, version 4.2*

This app has really helped me focus on things I tend to put in the back burner. I didn’t realize how much time I’ve spent scrolling and this really out things into perspective.

### 5/5 — Mon premier step de friction : Naze

*2026-07-20*

Naze m’a vraiment aidé à limiter mon temps d’écran petit à petit.

### 5/5 — Adhd game changer

*2026-07-15, version 4.2*

I usually never write reviews but this app has literally given me my life back. Being able to prevent a doomscroll while still getting 2 min of dopamine is fantastic. The cooldown feature is great and I can’t thank the creators of this app enough. Y’all are changing lives out here 😂

### 5/5 — AMAZING APP!

*2026-07-08, version 4.2*

AMAZING APP! Helped me get off my phone and be more present

### 5/5 — ADHD Tool

*2026-07-05, version 4.2*

This app has truly helped with my executive dysfunction and procrastination. I would waste at least a couple hours every day mindlessly scrolling on my phone. It felt like as hard as I tried, I couldn’t pull myself away. Since downloading Naze I have been so much more productive. I love that in order to unlock the apps you have to choose a reason for doing so; it makes you think before just procrastinating mindlessly. I recommend this to anyone who struggles to put their phone down and get their life moving.

### 5/5 — Great at blocking apps without being frustrating

*2026-07-01, version 4.1*

Very nice that I can set quick time limits just to look at a couple of reels or do something useful. Doesnt have the same frustrating blocking mechanics as other apps like opal

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-06-18*

I recommend, smart idea

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your feedback!
Our goal is to make Naze the best app for you and millions of others.
We're working hard to achieve that 🖤
