## What is Nazorigaki?

First hiragana, learned by tracing — with instant grading kids can understand. Made for ages 4-7 getting ready for school, and great for anyone starting Japanese. Every character and every feature is free.

■ Trace and get a 100-point score
Trace over a light-gray model and get scored on the spot: stroke count (30) + shape (50) + stroke order and direction (20). Writing strokes backwards caps the score, so correct habits form before bad ones do.

■ See exactly where it drifted
Deviations from the model are drawn in warm orange right on the child's strokes — easy to look at together and say “this is where it bent”.

■ All 150 kana
46 hiragana, 25 voiced and semi-voiced marks, 33 contracted sounds, and 46 katakana, each with a stroke-order animation (normal / slow).

■ A 5-minute daily plan
Five new characters plus three reviews, picked automatically each day. Finish for a stamp; keep going for streaks and badges.

■ A report for parents
Mastery by row, the five weakest characters, and weekly practice counts at a glance.

■ Built for children
- Child-facing screens use hiragana only
- Settings and external links sit behind a parental gate (a multiplication quiz)
