On the other hand , the game is very incomplete and underdeveloped. No announcers? You can’t be serious, all you hear is the same repetitious fan noise and player call outs with no variation. The lack of a replay cam takes the fun out of huge dunks. Gameplay is also very underwhelming. Controls are mediocre at best, player models have forced animations that look unnatural. Can’t guard well without being pushed into some imaginary wall, offensive rebounds are automatic put backs and shooting is a Hassle. Unless your completely wide open or getting a green, no shot is going in consistently. Post ups are nonexistent, for example a 7 foot player will not score against a defending point guard unless your giannis or Anthony Davis. Overall the game is only good for a few plays before it becomes a tedious headache. ### 3/5 — Good Game But Needs More *2021-08-11, version 1.20* Well this game is fun to play it has mycareer blacktop play now and that’s it. No blacktop online, no mynba, no myteam, and no exhibition online. my career feels very basic and boring more or less if you want to play street ball with your favorite NBA players or just put the best on your favorite team (mine is the Bulls lol) and make dudes like Lebron or AD or Lonzo Ball on the magic or something like that than go ahead and download this game. That’s everything that you can do in the game. Overall fun to play but boring after 20 minutes or so. Just get a game like OceanHorn 2 or Sneaky Sasquatch on Apple Arcade this game really is not worth your time right now so just play it on console please. ### 2/5 — Would love this game but one thing *2021-07-16, version 1.20* I play this game a lot and thoroughly enjoy it. However there’s way too much of this game especially in the myCareer mode that is covered in cutscenes. This would be fine if you could tap through them but you cant. You have to wait through 30 seconds of cutscenes after every half and every timeout and sadly this happens a lot. Most of the 4th quarter if it’s a close game is just waiting for the timeout animations to be over. It would be so much better if there was a way to just tap through it but sadly the game doesn’t have this capability and I’m hoping you guys add it. I know you must’ve spent a lot of time and money on that cheerleader animation but man I just want to play the game. It adds at least 5 minutes onto the time of each game and it’s extremely frustrating ### 2/5 — Should be better. *2021-07-06, version 1.20* I normally don’t review games but this game has some criminal moments. I get not having every game mode (even though you should and could). But can we at least get a save and quit during the game of my career. If I have to quit in the middle it would be nice to save progress instead of hoping for a 30 minute block of no phone calls or interruptions to complete a game. Also what’s up with the random quitting in career mode. I can be having a great game and then the game quits. Almost makes it unplayable. The controls get stuck at times and you have to hit like three times to make passes some times. The game doesn’t have to be perfect but it should at least be better than this. ### 4/5 — Good game, needs improvement! *2021-07-01, version 1.20* Good graphics, player ratings and badges. However, the defense is terrible! There’s no help defense, defensive rotation or double team button. Everybody just guards their man with no help, so it’s SOOO easy to get scored on. Also, there should be more offensive plays than just pick and roll. There should be an isolation button, a post up button, a basket cut button and a midrange or 3-pointer play option where the shooter comes off screens. The only way to score is to run pick and rolls. Also, there should be weekly ratings updates so we don’t have to edit the ratings using player rating sites. ### 4/5 — Good but frustrating *2021-06-28, version 1.10* The gameplay is great, but it’s like there’s still forced animations like blocks for example. Shooting is a bit more difficult to time but the ball handling and other factors for gameplay are wonderful. Wish there was an association mode featured in the game like 2k20 mobile which would be great or maybe bringing back something like playing a mycareer as an actual player again like 2k11 or 12 I believe just to stir it up a bit. I believe the way vc was implemented in the game isn’t good and it’s too much of a grind for mobile players. The system I feel should be implemented like 2k20 mobile where you get large sums of vc everytime you hit a certain overall. Game is enjoyable but 2k barely listens to their audience and has just become money hungry. So I don’t expect things to change much, but it’s good to play once you’ve finished everything you’ve had to do for the day and have some free time. Still the best basketball game out there! ### 3/5 — Just fix the glitch for me *2021-06-06, version 1.10* Ok first off this is a great version of 2k there are just a few things i would add to it. First i would love it if you could add a commentary to the game i can understand if this is not possible. Second i would love if you could add nicknames and maybe a post conference after the game once again i understand if u cant do the post conference, i think the nicknames wont be a problem. Those are the two things i want you to add now this is why i rated the game 3 stars, there is a glitch where if you walkup slowly to the defender after you get the inbound he will slowly walk backwards leaving you wide open for 3 it does this over and over on any difficulty. I will rate this 5 stars if you just fix the glitch, Thank you ### 4/5 — This is close as you’re going to get to the console version. *2021-06-05, version 1.10* The gameplay is smooth. I like how y’all brought the 2k20 shot meter back with this one. The touch-stick sensitivity isn’t where it needs to be, but that may be a setting I have to tweak. The reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because you guys didn’t implement the classic/all-time rosters & there’s no coach settings to run plays & set up defenses. I haven’t tried the online play but I heard you have to do it either on the same wifi as your opponent or via Bluetooth, was kinda puzzled by that. Maybe mobile gaming isn’t that advanced yet or adding these features requires a lot of software programming that would take up a lot of memory on our phones. Either way I say if you’re subscribed to the Apple Arcade it’s a definite download. If you own a console, don’t waste your time. The price EA’s asking for it is an easy steal & when you put that into perspective it’s understandable why certain features are missing in the mobile edition. ### 4/5 — 2K *2021-06-01, version 1.10* The game is actually pretty good I’ve been playing 2K since 2k11 on console and on mobile I just wish we had a few more options like a practice facility so we can practice on our jump shots and dribbling and also i know it may not happen but if you all add an online mode like on the console like my park that would be hard and there’s no commentary in the game and when we’re playing an online game against a friend I wish we could get the option to turn the fatigue off but other than that it’s a really cool game it gives me 2k20 on the console vibes and one more thing it’s a little pixel when I’m playing online against a friend like the frame is not as good as when you’re playing against the computer other than that the graphics are amazing keep up the good work 2K😎 ### 3/5 — Potential *2021-05-27, version 1.10* Has potential but overall the game is pretty garbage. Controlling the player is very difficult, and starting off, player stats are so bad that your player doesn’t even seem like an NBA player. I picked a three point shooter and the dude can’t even hit uncontested shots from the perimeter. Then he’s just ice cold and useless. Basically make money and stats by getting assists. Stamina is so garbage my dude can’t even keep up with the game. God forbid my dude has to dribble the basketball because apparently he made it to the NBA without any ball handling skills. My dude probably couldn’t even get around Drake from Degrassi in his wheelchair. My dude also stays getting blocked, can’t switch directions without losing the ball. Annoying game honestly. ### 3/5 — Unfinished and not tested *2021-05-27, version 1.10* It seems like it could be great but I can’t make any shots and the controls just don’t work sometimes I wonder if I’m even controlling the characters bc they do stuff I don’t make them do and I just think this was not ready and was made in like 2 hours bc it seems like there is no effort put in to this game and I have heard that these games are great but this is my first 2K game I’ve played and I did not enjoy and I don’t think someone tested and said “hmm why my character do that oh and I can’t make any shots…….. I LOVE IT LETS PUT IT ONLINE” just pls fix it I know you can do it and make this game great!😁 I’m not mad just disappointed (yes I did just pull the mom disappointed Card on you) ### 2/5 — Controls and features *2021-05-19, version 1.10* Hi 2K, I am not sure on what devices testing is done on but I have an iPhone XS Max and I find the controls to be laggy and not very smooth. 2k20 was better. A big issue for me is MyCareer! Also could we please fix the teammate grade scoring system in MyCareer? A bad shot should not be a layup or an open shot that you missed because you mistimed it. Also the Stamina for the MyCareer player still needs a lot of work. Why can’t we upgrade our stamina separately. A lot of guys in the NBA have great stamina even if they don’t have the skills. The cost to level up attributes needs to be less since there is mo micro-transactions. What happened to team practices and endorsements? That should be a thing. Lastly, we NEED practice mode for the individual MyCareer player so we can get used to the controls and the animations selects. ### 3/5 — Missing a lot but overall fun *2021-05-17, version 1.10* On my Mac the graphics are pretty good considering it's a not a dedicated gaming device. With a compatible controller, it's almost like playing on a console. There are a number of probelms that make the game less than stellar. I'm not a fan of in app purchases, but there really needs to be a way to up the VC. 2K is all about the grind, but on here it's amplified because it's really hard to get a decent amount of VC on MC. Also, why can't I save and leave a game like on the console version. I didn't think I'd miss the repetitive commentary, but it's odd to have none at all. If they fix those, they'd definitely have a winner in my book. ### 2/5 — Would like to see improvement in atmosphere & season play *2021-05-16, version 1.10* While the graphics and gameplay have seemingly improved from NBA 2k20 iOS (more player animations, more realistic CPU shot percentage and selection), the game atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Sideline benches are empty except for the coaches, mascot video files are apparently missing (with balls and swag guns seemingly controlled by an invisible entity) and there is no in-game commentary at all, only PA announcers, player and crowd noise. Furthermore, there is no ability to play seasons with one team and see player averages, which is probably a let-down for anyone statistically-inclined. Overall, the game is playable and would probably satisfy anyone seeking superb CPU simulation and graphics, but since I also enjoy a good atmosphere and analyzing numbers, I actually prefer NBA 2k20 over 2k21. ### 2/5 — Great but missing a lot *2021-05-15, version 1.10* Where is normal season mode? Announcers? Also, navigation during time outs and other menu selection is broken while using a controller. Touch input is stopped for selection when a controller is connected. Have to wait full time limit of a time out because I can’t select submit. Similar issue in the create a character interface, no way to submit when making the player if a controller is connected. Otherwise the game looks and plays great. Update: take back plays great. Think I may go back to 2K20 with worse graphics. What is up with the timing for shooting with a controller? Everything says timing late. Even if you press and release the button immediately. It’s just so sluggish. I want to love this game. But it’s almost infuriating to play. Can’t pass to anyone inside. Just can’t get into any kind of flow like the previous games. Game play is a major regression. ### 4/5 — I love this game, has room for improvement *2021-05-14, version 1.10* I enjoy playing this game a lot more then I used to because it feels more like console. The thing is that most people will play this on the go and won’t have time for a full game. Because of this, an addition I would love is to be able to save and quit in the middle of a mycareer game. Another thing I would love to be added is mycareer multiplayer that allowing you to verse other people with your build. Similar to the neighborhood on console. Further more, I wish it was easier to get vc. It would be nice to be able to get vc by playing multiplayer blacktop. That would make me rate it 5 stars. ### 2/5 — reoccurring crash bug on iPad *2021-05-11, version 1.0* A bug was missed in development that crashes the app right after some timeouts are called. The crash usually happens late in games, and all progress is lost when you reboot. MyCareer progress is already painfully slow, so when you throw in the fact that more than 50% of your games crash before the final whistle, you’re left with a frustrating, unplayable mode. Please sort this out for affected iPad users. Also, this game really needs some sort of “Association,” or season mode. We’re talking a NBA licensed game that doesn’t allow you to simply choose a NBA team and try to take them to the championship. And the on-court basketball simulation is really good. But you’ve got zero control over team strategy, play-calling, defensive sets, double-teams, etc….. Of course, this is a mobile game. And I wouldn’t expect anywhere near the level of depth you see on console. But you’ve got to have some level of control over basic strategy. So as good as the basketball and graphics are, the problems and lack of depth result in this not being a very good video game. I hope that will change at some point. ### 4/5 — Solid game with amazing potential, but lacking *2021-05-06, version 1.0* This game is honestly game changing and mind blowing, and props to the devs for working hard and innovating to bring us this new experience. All my friends and I have been playing non stop. The game is amazing through and through, however it’s missing some elements that are vital and as a collective these are our issues. 1. Bring back practices- it’s was really fun to see how we played by ourselves 2. Save the game progress at it deletes after a period of time 3. Bring back connections 4. Bring some elements from NBA mobile 2k16, Ive done research and a huge chunk of the community really liked some of the elements of the game, so don’t be afraid to copy them 5. Lower fatigue, it’s honestly so hard to do anything with fatigue this low and it kinda ruins the experience and the fun 6. More VC per game or blacktop, we used to be able to get 2,000 in one game, please bring it back Those are pretty much it and I can’t wait to see how this game develops :) ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unfinished game/waste of time *2021-09-27, version 1.20* Not like the other versions of NBA 2k on iPhone in the past. They have gotten rid of Vc’s, career mode doesn’t have a story line, playing multiplayer doesn’t keep track of w’s and l’s. In career mode it’s hard to get a good player and after 20 seasons you automatically retire…. Compared to the other versions since 2019 I’ve be playing it on mobile and I recently had it on PS5 but the difference is sad. This game is pretty much not even finished. The sound track is just instrumental instead of actual up beat songs. I purposely had gotten Apple Arcade just to play 2k but this was a waste.. hope next year for 2k 22 they do a better job.. i don’t know what they were doing with this.. they can keep this game… waste of time…. 2k you guys gotta do better…. ### 1/5 — Don’t play if you are looking for a fun Sports Game *2021-08-18, version 1.20* Let’s face it, EA does not have a good track record when it comes to customer service or being focused on the game aspect. While NBA 2k series has drifted down the dark path of simulation, it now moves from clawing at it’s fan base’s money to just clawing at the fan base’s time. The grind in this version is even more stifling than the pay to win console versions. VC was not modified to accommodate the move to mobile devices and therefore expect to play an ungodly amount of time to make any custom player feel like they even deserve to be on the court. With 10 hours in I’m about to can my own player just because, despite averaging 20 posts a game and B+/A- ranking the VC just doesn’t come in fast enough and the team mate AI is horrid. While all opposing teams are hitting greens on 9 out of 10 shots, your team mates will never fail at committing fouls, getting the ball poked from them, or missing wide open shots. Despite your own best efforts to carry the whatever team you play on, expect to lose a majority of your games. Don’t play if you are looking for a fun sports experience because this game was designed to push you to pay in order to compete and this version has no pay option, so you’re left with being unable to compete. Great job EA and Apple. ### 1/5 — Terrible. Just terrible. *2021-08-11, version 1.20* You don’t really have any control over what happens in the games. If you’re leading against the Lakers then the computer just takes over, Lebron scores 15 points in 2 minutes, all of your shots are suddenly being blocked and you end up losing the game. My other favorites are when I’m leading by 6 and my player gets taken out of the game, then I come back in after only 1 minute and I’m down by 14. Or how about passing the ball to a computer player and having them hold it for literally 20 seconds then hoist up some ridiculous shot even though there is still 3 minutes left on the game clock. Don’t even get me started on passing the ball to a teammate who is wide open under the basket only to have said computer-controlled player sit there and wait for a defender, then spend the next 10 seconds faking only to have some weak attempt at a layup blocked by a shorter player. On the other side of the ball, the “defense assist” button is a complete joke. When the opposing player starts to drive, your player follows them about halfway then just gives up. You get dinged on for a “defensive breakdown” when a player you’re not even supposed to be guarding scores. I could go on about the myriad shortcomings of this game, but it just isn’t worth it anymore. Suffice it to say that this is an absolutely awful game. ### 1/5 — Really bad controller support, and lots of other problems *2021-04-10, version 1.0* Why in the world is one button mapped to two different actions? The B button is for bounce pass and hold to set a screen, but every time i try to call for a screen it dumps it off to the screener or another random teammate. The visuals are nice even compared to Nintendo switch but the presentation is awful, no broadcaster commentary, and the in game player and crowd sounds are very repetitive and lifeless. The non gameplay aspects are really rough as well. Menus have limited options and i cannot for the life of me figure out the substitutions screen so i just sit and wait for a full minute and let the computer take care of it. At least give me a way to quickly exit the screen! I played the 2016 iOS version of this game and would rather have that again than whatever this crap is ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work *2021-04-05, version 1.0* The overall graphics of the game is good; however, there’s a lot of room for improvement. One of the major problems is that the crowds are literally paper cut outs, I hope 2k can patch this. I also hope that 2k can bring in more modes such as my league and my team. There’s also no commentaries at all in the game. I also hope that 2k can update the rosters on time, for instance, Derrick rose should not be on the pistons and Andre Drummond should not be on the cavs. During half time of every game, there’s no entertainer at all, there’s just random machines floating in the air. I also hope that 2k can allow players to actually shoot around during “shoot around”. I understand that this game just came out, but I still hope 2k will put in the effort for improving this game. ### 1/5 — Well... *2021-04-03, version 1.0* How can you take a Mobile Basketball Game that has been around since about 2015 make it exclusive to only Apple, strip some of the modes from previous years of improvement and not give the gamers a better version of this game? NBA2KMobile is better and that’s not saying much. I don’t think gaming developers including ones associated with 2K and Take Two care about the actual players. Just like the millennial generation; gaming developers just care about money, likes and shares while disregarding any constructive criticism that affects the game. You know you can do better yet refuse. I have been playing NBA2k since Dreamcast and this game doesn’t even hold water to the first NBA2k. If you respected people you would give the gamers something better than this....One Star ### 2/5 — Needs to be better *2021-09-30, version 1.20* As much as i love to play this game there are some things you guys could add to it and fix. 1. You need to fix the passing options. There’s times where i want to pass the ball to someone who’s open and it’ll throw it across the court to someone else and it’s frustrating to say the least. 2. The defensive assignments get changed every two seconds and i get the penalty for someone i wasn’t even guarding if they make a shot. 3. I think you guys need to implement guidelines for the plays being made like in the actual console game. This would help people who have never played before realize what they should do when playing a position. 4. I think there needs to be team practices every once in a while for maybe badge upgrades but also to help your player get better and actually practice. I understand that this is just a mini game version of the actual game, but i still think these things will help and get a ton of more appreciation for the game. ### 2/5 — Worst than 2k20 *2021-09-06, version 1.20* Honestly This Was A Letdown and in my opinion worst than the first one, there’s just wayy to much removed from 21 compared to 20, the only good thing I could give this are the graphics and even those aren’t the best, I know it’s a mobile version but that shouldn’t be an excuse bc 20 was wayy better than this, the controls trash, the gameplay trash the story mode trash, there wasn’t even really a story mode, and can we still with the narrated story modes it gets boring and annoying, I know this is just a $5-$10 game but still if it’s a new version I expect it to be better than the previous not worse. After this review I’m deleting this and redownloading 2k20 because at least I had more fun and more characters to play on black top with. ### 2/5 — just frustrating and v e r y time consuming *2021-08-22, version 1.20* After playing more there is NO VC SIM, not even half so it would take 5 full in game season to get to a 93 overall BEFORE badges. The controls are again bad, very bad. I find the defender is glued onto me or if I’m defending my player can’t follow him. They added a defensive assist button but it’s the equivalent of your guy putting his arms up. At least the graphics right? Nope. Jerseys are blurry, crowds are barren, player expression is non existent. The only good thing is the actual court. But hey, at least I can’t buy vc, I just have to put in hundreds of hours instead! This game was made to be monetized, but since it’s on arcade they just removed the buy vc option that’s it. So no balancing what so ever. Better off with any other arcade game on here really, spend your time somewhere else. ### 2/5 — 2K21 Review *2021-08-10, version 1.20* Bruh the game and graphics is ok but when it comes down to playing it just like any other 2K21 game it’s a whole nother ball game. Your teammates is literally standing there the whole entire time. They always do and run into the same places everytime i run to a certain spot on the court. Whenever I’m trying to execute the paint with my boy Giannis. My teammates come all under me while I’m playin bringing they defense right my way. I hate how I can’t pass the ball exactly to the person I want to on the play. So for example, while on a fast break, I try to pass it to the person already down the court but instead they pass it to someone else or if someone cut to the basket open lane, it pass it to someone else. I hate how when the defense come to double team me most time it’s a center. My center do not cut to the basket at all, he just stand there looking at me get double teamed an wen I go to alley oop. Instead of a dunk, he tap the ball and miss. And I play with karl towns and Giannis together so Ik Karl towns would yam that ball while going against a double team. They need to fix that ASAP for it to be at least ok. I mean the players literally stand there all the time and do the same cuts everytime i move a certain direction. Something needs to be done about that. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — This game is good but… *2021-06-01, version 1.10* I love playing this to pass time, but I needed a practice area, where it’s just me and a hoop, so I can practice my shots and stuff, because you all just threw me in a game expecting me to know what to do, and missing every shot. You have to build your character up because now I am a starter on Golden State and I get a few points during the game, usually end games with a B. I have come across issues where the game froze literally at the end and I had to quit the game and make no money, but other than that it’s a lot of fun and I use a PS4 remote to play on my phone which makes game play easier! ### 5/5 — Great, but needs some work *2021-05-29, version 1.10* Way better than last year, though there are some problems. Very slow progression, with no way to buy vc this is quite noticeable. The stamina system needs to be improved by quite a bit, I am usually depleted fully by halftime each game. Perhaps the most annoying thing, if you score 5 or more points in the 1st quarter, you’ll be hip rode the rest of the game with little to no way to get open, making it feel like every player plays like a defensive player of the year. Those are the things I believe need improvement, otherwise it’s a great game by far the best mobile version of 2K we’ve ever had. ### 5/5 — Great game but... *2021-05-17, version 1.10* First off the graphics are a major improvement. I was hoping you guys would take care of that. There was ah bit of regression as far as taking away the other game modes and different blacktop courts and stuff like that but nothing you guys couldn’t tweak real quick. I’ve been buying the 2k iOS version since like 2k15 and for the most part you guys were giving us ah copy and paste game with updated rosters every year (which was cool cause I was still obsessing every year for the next drop), but this year was much better. Hope you guys are really reading these reviews and taking them into consideration. I feel that us fans of the game really have some good points. If I could play as Kobe and Shaq wit these graphics! Man would be dope to have the season mode back as well, probably my favorite mode fasho. Also could you guys add a practice mode like off 2k14 iOS, sometimes I just wanna lay back and test out Zions dunk package. Lastly I was hoping you guys would add more blacktop courts this year but you did the opposite and took em away like what’s up with that? Still hope you guys reconsider tho. ### 5/5 — 2K21 help *2021-05-14, version 1.10* Developers this game is amazing but I really think we need new things for my career like custom jumpshots and that’s mostly all for my career that is like the only thing that would make my career more fun and new pie charts cause if I want to make a pure blue center I should have around 12 defenseive badges and we should choose our weight wingspan etc that would make the game amazing and you guys can also add online pvp where u can play with friends and go against friends and please fix the online servers it is so delayed and laggy when you go up against a person, thank u have a good day ### 5/5 — Awesomeness!! *2021-04-16, version 1.0* Everything the arcade version brings is nothing but perfect, the fact that we now have blacktop, myCareer and multiplayer from console to mobile is very outstanding and I couldn’t wait to play this ! After playing for a few days I really enjoy everything about, the controls takes some getting use to because I got big fingers and if you have big fingers it may be a little difficult for you as well so if we could adjust the size of the buttons that would be amazing ! Until then I’ll just have to buy a Bluetooth controller but it’s that much worth it honestly. Thank you guys for coming out with this banger :) ### 5/5 — Won’t save! *2021-04-11, version 1.0* This game is easily the best 2k Mobile game ever as far as gameplay goes, but it won’t save. The first thing I did when I first opened the game was link my iCloud to it. I was expecting that to be fine because 2k20 Mobile worked fine with that. However, the first thing I noticed when I opened the game again later was that none of the coins I earned were still there and none of the in-game settings (camera angle, shot meter settings etc.) were the same. I know it doesn’t ultimately affect the gameplay to have to reset these every time, but it’s still annoying. It also makes me hesitant to start a career, because I’m afraid it won’t save. Other than that, the game is impeccable, and I’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends. Just fix the saving issue and you’ve got 5 stars from me! ### 5/5 — Awesome!!!, just a little bit more room for some improvements *2021-04-09, version 1.0* Overall this game is awesome...from the graphics, to the shot mechanics and individual player attributes. However I would love to have some features like instant replay, and also commentary which I think gives you that realistic aspect when playing the game. Also I would love if there were more equipments available especially sneakers and also ‘my player’ features such as tattoos and personal upgrades and celebrations when creating a new player. ### 5/5 — Great for the most part *2021-04-05, version 1.0* I really, really, like this game. I used to play the nba 2k20 mobile version and this game is very similar. I like that it has most of the same modes and all that, but I really wish you guys had included association. Personally, it’s my favorite mode, being able to manage a team and take it to the finals. The graphics are smooth, the audio is good and the gameplay is top notch. Another thing I wish you guys would include is the 2K beats. I’m not sure if it’s included or not but it would help. Usually when I do anything, music is a good motivator. Anyways, yeah. Well done 2K, I’m impressed. 👏👏👏👍👍 ### 5/5 — Finally, A Reason for Apple Arcade! *2021-04-04, version 1.0* I’ve bought every NBA 2K since 12, and this is the best so far. The graphics are smoother than 20 and the gameplay is more fluid. Likewise, I’m glad they kept the defensive assist, as I have a terrible time running around my man on D with a virtual stick. Mainly, we have had Apple Arcade since Apple One debuted, but after trying a couple of the games, I gave up on the service, since it was all indie-junk (with the exception of SamuraiJack). Now, there is finally a reason to have Apple Arcade! Hopefully, this signals a shift towards providing quality games in the service. That should result in more subscriptions. NHL 2K next? ### 4/5 — MyCareer needs some tweaks *2021-08-09, version 1.20* The game is so polished for a mobile game and I am amazed with how well it mimics the console versions. Although modes are limited it's very fun for a game on the go I like playing MyCareer. However, there are some things that are very very annoying that make it hard to progress. I would like for the devs to add stamina regeneration during timeouts because you gas very quickly in MyCareer. Also, if your build doesn't include the red pie, good luck trying to grab a board that directly goes towards you. My player will literally fumble a rebound because it's a playmaking slasher and has 30 ovr rebounding that can't improve.
