They have new limited cards out that you can pull 4 times but not everyone can get them apparently and it’s a 5 day event. When picking cards from the draft board, the game hits you with a “network issue”. You can’t put some of your best cards in decks like champions because you have to have a WNBA card in there. It should go back to just the best overall cards be in your deck like it was in MyNBA2k20 instead of forcing the WNBA equality into the game. The chances of pulling a good WNBA card are also so low which causes another problem with having your best deck because you rarely pull good WNBA cards that are useful in your decks. If this was fixed then the game would be perfect, but until they stop forcing the “equality” of the two leagues it won’t be. ### 4/5 — Good but having a major early game gripe *2021-10-08, version 2.0.6493679* I loved these games when they were the yearly 2k app and they’re still good now, however to the devs I’d make a suggestion. Please do not lock in cards to a deck, I have 2 gold currys and I maxed them out to pro them but I can’t because I autofilled all my decks and some of them are locked in and can’t take the currys out to pro them. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2021-07-24, version 1.12.6204149* If you’ve played WWE SuperCard this is basically the same, but easier to get into because it’s new and there aren’t a ton of card tiers just yet. Most of the modes are the same but I do like how player’s positions actually matter which is a nice twist. The game rewards you the more you grind, it does have timers but you don’t wait forever and grinding quick play is legit. Much like WWE you either pay or be patient or RNG will brutalize you with the packs though. Champions requires more effort than King of the Ring which is a blessing and a curse but worth it for the rewards. Much like WWE, it’s easy to pick up and play but with enough depth to sit and play for a while when you get into it. It is still missing quite a few things though, additional modes, Fortifying cards and gear being the main two I can think of but this is a solid start so far. Im also questioning on how the base stats on all cards are based on. Even some players and most of the rookies this season are missing which kinda bothers me like Jae’sean Tate, PJ Tucker, Devin Vassell, and even Micheal Jordan the GOAT!!! Why does Enes Kanter have an onyx card ? Other than that it’s a good game and oddly addictive ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The sad little brother of MyNBA2k *2023-09-17* This game used the same devs as MyNBA2K, only for it to be worse than its predecessor. Took everything from original tiers, to several game modes, and even deck altering cards that increase stats of your deck throughout the duration of your game. This game was expected to take what MyNBA was and go beyond, but it didn’t reach that status. Now they’re going to shut down the servers with no word of whether there will be another app, sort of how MyNBA2K released a new app every year (similar to the console franchise). This game lived in the shadow of MyNBA and never crawled out, RIP, hopefully the next iteration (if there is one) will take that leap and be great. ### 1/5 — App Developers do not care *2022-12-07, version 8.2.7845219* This game has soooo much potential. 3 seasons in there’s has only been 2 new game modes introduced. There is a cap on how many cards you can keep, like the programmers get paid in how much cardspace they don’t give us. New cards coming out, same card space, new event, same card space, new game mode that requires you to save cards you don’t use, same card space. There’s is no point of playing this game. Don’t waste your time. The game is stuck with too much content and not enough “card space” to play ### 1/5 — CashDaddy’s Last NBA Cash Grab *2021-04-01, version 1.5.5867259* After playing since My NBA 2k15 I did the unthinkable and finally uninstalled this app. Compared to earlier version there aren’t very many game modes (Quick Game and Tournament) and the events are terrible now. Gauntlet takes too much of your time and the rewards are not nearly as good as in previous versions. Court Domination is ok but you to need to finish Gauntlet to pro the event card. Progression is also hampered because you need to pro WNBA cards to get to the next level. Those pros are impossible to come by. I have no problem with adding the WNBA in the game but I have enough NBA pros to go to the next level (Amethyst) but can’t progress because I need WNBA pros. For anyone who thinks this game has potential, lower your expectations. CashDaddy has had years to fulfill that potential so hasn’t done so in the pass five years. No reason to think they’ll meet that potential now. ### 1/5 — Not a fan *2020-12-26, version 1.0.5556629* I’d rather it be more like the last one.. I am not going to play this one ever again.. I was a daily player on the mynba2k20 this one is lame.. and no one wants WNBA players.. if you think they do make a separate game for WNBA and watch it fail... you lost me.. I would have liked to see MyNBA2K21 allow us to trade cards with each other like real trading cards.. I’d also like to see you make it so it’s our cards from the real games nba2k21 you could even make ways for us to earn cards for nba2k21... but this game is lame and pointless.. ### 2/5 — Devs need to address bugs *2022-04-13, version 7.12.7089889* Conceptually, the game is great. However, there are a number of bugs in the game that seem to go unaddressed. I was grinding for hours to fill quest and ‘match’ bars, only to find out that less than 1/4 of my progress was being recorded toward the goal. It turns out several players have brought up this issue (and likely many more have experienced it without noticing) and it has yet to be resolved. I also don’t care for the fact that the meta is based on a mechanic of force-closing the game when you are losing a match. This removes any competition within the game, but all the top tier players do it and will tell you it is the “proper” way to play the game. I’d love to return to this game one day, but only after these issues are resolved. For now, I’ll be deleting the app. ### 2/5 — Off to a bad start *2020-12-19, version 1.0.5556629* Having played WWE SuperCard, I knew somewhat to expect, and I jumped in at the release with high hopes. I played daily as I thought they would be making small improvements and increasing gameplay. WRONG!! 2 weeks in and there are only a “quick play” mode and 2-day mode that is poorly thought out as it takes too long with horrific rewards. Without warning there was a slight in-game tweak to cards which really negatively affected those who had been grinding and coining. No apologies or make-it-ups from the company, just a promise of new “special cards” coming soon...that have a crazy poor pull rate, but we can purchase with our money. No comments about any events or other game modes on social media or anywhere. All of us loyal SuperCard fans feel betrayed and cheated. The promise of a descent game is/was here but you lost this player with your seeming lack of caring from the start. ### 3/5 — Overall game *2022-12-28, version 8.2.7845219* It is great if you are a fan of the NBA it is a fun game. I played WWE SuperCard for years and this is a great game as a spin-off of that game. The downsides are that this game just doesn’t feel like it gets the same support that WWE does. That could be because it doesn’t bring in the same revenue but I wish the developers had more interactions with the community. Like when there are events and such there social media doesn’t do a good job of informing us of what the event is about and like wise the news tab in the game hasn’t been updated for me since I started playing the game. All in all it is a fun game that could use just of few minor tweaks to be a fantastic game. ### 3/5 — It has flaws *2022-10-28, version 8.0.7665339* This game can be fun, but it’s mostly a grind. Everything will upset you. You run out of space you can only have so many cards so you start throwing away cards you have worked so hard to get. You rarely get cards you need to progress and advance. And new cards all the time so thrown away your old cards and grind for new ones. There are a few improvements I would change to improve the game. Cut down on the normal Fusion time, 5 & 1/2 days is a long time to wait. Also you may want to add an option to increase the player’s collection capacity, like the bag size in Pokémon GO. But 1 thing I believe should be added is when you are picking players of the draft board I fell like when your a higher rank you should be able to not get a draft reset if you pull a gold or higher. Huge fan of basketball cards and I didn’t have enough money to get packs so I got this game to make the time fly. Fast forward a little bit it got done downloading. I opened the app and it said network error please try again later or something. I tried another time and it did the same thing. So I turned in my data and tried again, still didn’t work. You could add an option where you could choose to play with your players in game, so you’re not just picking cards. You could add things in the quick games and stuff to make them fun. If you wanted to you could play the game like this. 3. You could add more card designs. Make more limited cards so it’s cooler to see different cards. 4.
