I went back to the seat selection screen and choose one more seat, went back to my cart and only 1 seat shows up for purchase. The other 3 seats are stuck in limbo, why on earth would those 3 seats not stay in my cart?!?why is this not even an option??! Now i have to wait 10-15 or how ever long for the seats to show back up again ( hopefully) they used to never show back up for repurchase, thank god that part was actually fixed.. your app sucks, get with the times. ### 2/5 — Not intuitive *2024-09-20* I was looking for purchased tickets, they are located under Rewards, why? ### 2/5 — App needs work *2024-08-23, version 7.0.8* This app never keeps me signed in. Such a pain in the butt. ### 2/5 — One Major Issue *2024-07-31* The app in general is ok in terms of finding a movie and showtime, but the huge issue is no cart to access selections. I picked specific seats, went to check me rewards, and then I couldn’t go back anywhere to finish buying tickets. That’s the most basic thing to be able to do, and I can’t. It said my seats would be “held” for about 10 minutes, and about 30 minutes later, the seats I picked are still grayed out. Even the website doesn’t have a cart to hold tickets. This needs to be fixed. ### 2/5 — Missing key features *2024-04-19* No cart, no back button from movie, does not keep you logged in. We have an update coming very soon that will fix the login issue (which worked during testing but does not now), as well as the home button not fully functioning. We are also taking your other comments into consideration. ### 1/5 — Bad news *2023-12-26, version 6.0.8* Tried using a VISA giftcard that had been activated to use online and it would not take it but would not let me put a different card in. ### 3/5 — I want to love this app! *2023-11-05* We frequent two different NCG theaters. The last 2-3 times I tried to log in to use the app for tickets, it tells me my log in info is wrong! Last time, I had to actually run to the theater which is not close to my house to buy tickets so our group could sit together! Today, I picked two tickets and it wouldn’t let me log in but it kept the seats in my “cart” so when I tried to buy them on the website instead of the app, the tickets showed unavailable. I finally had to forego buying the tickets with my login which meant I earned no points and could not use points earned. Figure out the bugs with your app PLEASE! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-08-27, version 6.0.8* Doesn’t work ### 2/5 — No more Rewards *2023-07-30, version 6.0.8* I’ve reached out nearly every time I purchase tickets that you can’t login to the rewards program on the app or on the website and they still haven’t fixed it. It stopped working when they moved to this new app and I haven’t been earning rewards since. ### 1/5 — Help! *2023-07-24, version 6.0.8* This is the only way to now access my rewards account, yet I cannot log in. I use my log in info and it says its incorrect. I tried changing my password and it never sends me a link. I try starting fresh and starting a whole new account and when I hit submit it gives me an error to refresh my app. I refresh it every time! Im losing patience with the app and the company ### 3/5 — Clunky App *2023-07-14* The interface is rather clunky. I have to look through all the movies to see what is playing in which theater. The old layout was much better. Also when I select seats and then check out, why do I have to specify if the seats are VIP or regular? The app should know from the seats I selected on the seating chart page. ### 1/5 — Don’t recommend *2023-07-09, version 6.0.8* Only shows a portion of movies playing at my theater. ### 1/5 — Not user friendly *2023-07-02* App is difficult to use, very limited in its function, no Apple Pay, not easy way to get in a credit card. Worst of all you are able to order tickets online but have to call an individual theater to cancel the tickets. Just like the in person experience, the theater chain’s app was designed to nickel and dime their customers into submission. Thank goodness my Emagine and AMC apps work. It is worth driving an extra 30 minutes to get a decent app and theater experience. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Missing key features *2025-05-17, version 7.0.8* Seriously, NO F-ING CART BUTTON. No back button from movie, does not keep you logged in. Your member card is hidden; it should be in the menu. ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-09-06* No way to return to your cart. The app does not let go of the seats after 10 minutes. So many reviews on this issue, why is it not fixed????? ### 1/5 — Broken in every way *2024-09-02* As of this writing, almost nothing in the about works. The thing that do work provide exceptionally poor user experience. The final straw is that logging into one’s account is impossible. Even after resetting the password, dumping the app and reinstalling, logging in fails with an error that implies the user is the idiot in the relationship. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work, not one single part of it! *2024-06-16* Previous app or version of the app worked fine, but everyone involved in the current app needs to be fired and sent back to kindergarten because even kindergarteners these days could design an app that is better laid out and functions better. Can’t login, where are the movies? (I know you scroll down on the Home Screen but it is no intuitive and nothing tells you to, why not just have a tab that says “showtimes” why is that so hard) there’s no “cart” icon or any way to get to your cart. If you go in the app and select tickets and then realize you’re not logged in (if you’re lucky enough to be able to log in) then once you log in the seats are locked even though you are the one who selected them but now you can’t purchase them. This is quite possibly the absolute worst piece of garbage app I have ever seen and that’s saying something! ### 1/5 — App is bad. Needs complete overhaul. *2024-06-16* No other way to put it other than this app is bad. App looks like it was designed for iOS 2 from 2008. ### 1/5 — Won’t keep me signed in when off the app! *2024-05-10* After you leave the app when signed into your account, the app automatically signs you out. So you could be off the app for 10 seconds and you won’t be signed into your account when back into the app. ### 1/5 — Fixed nav *2024-05-07* Along with all the other complaints, can you stop with all of the fixed navs? You are giving me 1 inch to view the movie showtimes. ### 1/5 — Why did the app change? *2024-05-03* PLEASE bring back the old app, it was PERFECT! This new one feels like it was made in 2003. ### 1/5 — What happened?! *2024-05-02* The devs took an OK app and made it worse. Not sure what this overhaul was all about but it’s not much more confusing to use. I should at least be able to simply find my movie ticket when I open the app. Instead it’s buried somewhere in the outer ends of the universe. ### 1/5 — Many problems *2024-04-27* In addition to other issues in reviews, after selecting seats and switching to a different tab I can’t go back and finish my order with the same seats. They’re grayed out but there’s no way for me to finish my order. Not having a cart/order menu is an issue. Also my rewards aren’t loading. I tried to restart password and see no email in my inbox they claim they sent out.
