Every time I have attempted to use to pay I have been forced to use the web site. This app is time consuming as it requires full card details and address every time. No option of Apple Pay or PayPal. I use Ringo regularly and this is an easy app to use. Think I need to look for an alternative car park when visiting Bromley in future ### 1/5 — Not good *2026-08-04, version 2.13.0* Tried to pay for parking at Newark train station as NCP required payment in advance. Wouldn’t accept the saved password so went through the process of setting a new password. It took over 30 minutes to get a verification code. By this time I moved the car to a different car park and my wife set up another account and paid for 1 hour just in case as there isn’t any grace period. And paid for three hours . I have a receipt. When i came back to the car park the machine said I had not paid and cost me another £10. It’s never taken me less than 10 minutes to sort out my parking. Which is often longer than the time that I needed to park my car for. I am convinced that NCP deliberately make it impossibly difficult to pay for parking so that people either give up, forget, or are unable to pay for parking. It must be part of their business model in order to generate lots of fines. I saw some very disgruntled people swearing at an NCP machine in the car park today, which shows that this disgusting company employ this tactic no matter how you attempt to pay. I just read that NCP entered voluntary administration in March 2026.
