Know your shutter time before the shot.
Plan smooth water, moving clouds and light trails with the ND filters you own.

ND Exposure Calculator turns a meter reading into a long-exposure plan. Enter your base shutter speed, aperture and ISO, then choose the target aperture, ISO and ND strength.

• Calculate shutter time and compare exposure settings.
• Keep a filter library with standard and custom strengths; combine multiple ND filters.
• Find filter combinations close to your desired exposure time.
• Save named setups and restore your current settings when you reopen the app.
• Use an exposure timer with a preparation countdown and saved timer state.

Getting started
Remove the ND filters you want to calculate before taking the base meter reading.
1. Take a meter reading with your camera or light meter.
2. Enter those settings and select your ND filters.
3. Set the calculated shutter time on your camera. Use the timer for a long exposure.

Important
The app does not measure light, take photos or control your camera shutter. You open and close the shutter yourself. Keep the app open during the preparation countdown; if you miss the opening cue, restart preparation. Check your result against the scene and your equipment.
