Now the app looses the connection every few minutes, which makes dealing with it soooo frustrating. Connecting to the wifi and using both UDP and TCP did not work, the source would be visible in our list but could not actually view the screen. When inputting the NDI Server, the iphone no longer shows up on our sources. Finally, turning off cellular in app settings, connecting an Ethernet cable to the iPhone, and inputting the discovery server (UDP or TCP) worked and the source was visible and smooth. Before I did this, my Iphone wouldn’t register under my OBS source…. What I got: expensive and abandoned app that doesn’t work on iPad, only iPhone, and seems to force drop every few minutes. I’ve probably spent over $60,000 with NewTek since my OG Tricaster. I feel like this isn’t the same company ignoring its products and customers like this. I was frustrated that my iOS app got pulled after paying $20 for it, so I bought Mark Gilbert’s. This now just seems like this is Newteks new business model - abandoned products. Did you know it is cheaper to keep a customer than to find a new one? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No joy *2026-02-10* Unfortunately the broadcast does not show on my network. I can see other NDI streams on the network, this app on my iPad is not broadcasting. And I know this pad is on the net properly, because NDI monitor can see the other streams as well. Not refundable, according to Apple Store. Disappointed, the vast majority of NDI (viszrt) software is rock solid and "just works". ### 1/5 — Couldn’t get it working *2025-08-07* I installed this on my iPad but couldn’t find the NDI source from my laptop. More information is needed about how to use this tool eg with OBS (I’m using Linux in particular). It seems that this tool only transmits ‘NDI HX’, which cannot be decoded by the NDI SDK on Linux, rendering this iOS app useless for Linux users, and hence making NDI useless for my application. Mais résultat des courses : fonctionne nickel (iPhone et iPad) - sans latence et avec une très bonne qualité. Utilisé pour faire du streaming sur OBS. Résultat : aucun pb et très satisfait (installé depuis en partage familial sur tous nos iPhone / iPad / MacBook, en installant aussi les NDI tools sur ces derniers pour pouvoir caster à partir de tous ces appareils). Nota : sur de vieilles machines (Mac OS 10.13), si OBS affiche un écran noir sur vos entrées NDI : 1) essayez de charger un runtime NDI plus ancien (4.0.0) 2) si cela fait crasher l’ordi, revenez à la version la plus récente, et téléchargez une appli (je n’ai plus son nom) qui transformera vos flux NDI en Symphony, pour pouvoir les utiliser (sans pb) sur OBS. ### 5/5 — Tela preta *2021-02-04* No primeiro dia funcionou mais no segundo dia quando fui usar o aplicativo simplesmente minha no streamlabs fica tela preta já testei no NDI monitor e também fica tela preta.
