## What is Nearby Meows?

Every neighborhood has its own wildlife — you just haven't been keeping score.

Nearby Meows turns real-world cat spotting into the collecting game it always deserved to be. See a cat on your walk? Open the scanner, frame it, and hit capture. On-device AI identifies the breed in seconds and adds it to your Cat Dex.

BUILD YOUR CAT DEX
• 22 breeds to discover, from everyday Domestic Shorthairs to the elusive Sphynx and Egyptian Mau
• Four rarity tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary — each with its own XP reward
• Browse your collection by breed or by individual catch, complete with photo, time, and place

SCAN LIKE A PRO
• A radar-style scanner shows which breeds are active near you, so every walk becomes a hunt
• The breed classifier runs entirely on your iPhone — no photos ever leave your device
• A depth-sensing liveness check keeps it honest: photos of cats on screens or paper don't count
• Couldn't get a clean ID? Log it as a Mysterious sighting and keep exploring

LEVEL UP
• Earn XP for every capture — rarer cats, bigger rewards
• Climb explorer titles and unlock achievements
• Revisit every catch on your personal sightings map

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All identification happens on-device. Your photos and locations stay on your phone.

The cats are out there. Go find them.
