## What is Nearly Departed for UK trains?

Location-aware live departures for UK trains on your homescreen and your wrist.

- Shows up to 12 hours of live departures or arrivals

** Usage **

- Use the iPhone / iPad app to define your favourite train routes
- By default, the routes will automaticaly reverse direction in the afternoon
- Enable Location Services to reverse your route based on your location
- Add the widget to your iPhone / iPad, to see your favourite route on your home screen
- Long-press on the widget to change the displayed route
- Install the Apple Watch app to view departures on your wrist


** Subscriptions? Oh no! **

Yes, there is a very affordable optional subscription - but the app is usable without needing to subscribe.

Here's why you might consider subscribing:

* View the current location of train services
* Remove the 5-route limit
* Follow services, so they are pinned to the home screen
* Live Activities to track the progress of a service
* Support future development of the app

If you choose to purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase.

If you actively use iOS accessibilty features (VoiceOver or Dynamic Type) then you won't need to subscribe - all premium features will be available for you to use for free.

Fantastic when it works but 9/10 times I check my route on the iPhone widget I get “something went wrong”.  If this can be fixed I would give 5 stars.

As silly as that may sound, this app is obviously designed by someone who knows what would help them when using the railways: tracking cancellations, platform changes, letting you know you have almost arrived in case you have nodded off. It’s a great at the deserves my subscription and is great value for money.

They also utilise new iOS features and APIs, which I appreciate e.g. Live Activities.

The developer is also really engaging, taking on feedback and improving the app regularly.

There are lots of train apps out there, but this one is a perfect balance of information, ease of use and cost. 

You simply choose routes you are interested in and can see the next train and platform at a glance. The live activities are particularly awesome too. Thanks for a great app.

I frequently use this app for my train commutes, as it allows me to easily monitor how the train services are running and any problems that are starting to happen.  I can also monitor my specific journeys for delays, etc.  I highly recommend this app for any train commuter in the UK, and it is more than worth the small subscription fee.

I’ve tried every train app looking for something that takes advantage of latest iOS features like live activities and Lock Screen widgets, nobody else seems to nail it as well as this app does. So far it’s been accurate and saves me lots of time smashing through my train providers terrible native app. Bravo.
