Determine buffer and reaction conditions for experiments requiring two restriction enzymes using the Double Digest Finder. When using either of these tools, look for Time-Saver and HF enzymes for the ultimate in convenience. Use Tm Calculator to calculate optimum annealing temperature for PCR primers when using NEB polymerases and buffers. When you can't find your catalogue because someone "borrowed" it... again... just pull out the app! Downsides are it's obviously not going to be as in depth as the catalogue or full online resources, but it's a quick reference guide. It's also only with the new buffers now, so if you're stocked up on buffers 1-4 then go ahead and grab the catalogue. ### 3/5 — Good, but could be better *2013-04-09, version 1.6.1* It's convenient, a handy way to check for buffer compatibility when double digesting; so it does what it says it'll do. However, it could be so much better. If you included protocols for instance, or the rest of the tools in your website (particularly the Tm calculator, which is awesome) you'd get a lot more people interested. For anyone interested, Promega has an app that has all this information, however most people still prefer NEB RE. ### 4/5 — Please *2013-03-19* Put the old buffers back!!
