Learn guitar fretboard notes, scales, chords, pentatonic positions, and the CAGED system. Then practise the same view in time. NeckPilot is a fretboard learning, practice, and jam companion for beginner and intermediate guitarists. Choose material from the built-in catalog and map it to your current instrument and tuning. LEARN THE GUITAR FRETBOARD See notes across the full neck or focus on one position. The Trainer has nine games for finding notes, building intervals and scales, and completing familiar shapes. Answer on screen, reveal the result, or play the note on your own instrument in microphone-assisted Play Mode. CONNECT PENTATONIC, CAGED, AND 3NPS POSITIONS Explore Common/CAGED, three-notes-per-string, and pentatonic positions in any available key. Move through five connected positions, compare them with the full scale, and see which chord tones already sit under your fingers. FIND THE CHORDS IN A KEY Open a major or minor key to see its harmonized chords. Theory explains intervals, scale degrees, chord construction, and related chords. Applied Guides add practice advice, reviewed fingering where available, tablature, staff notation, and accessible event views. BUILD A FRETBOARD VIEW AND PRACTISE IT Explorer Layers combines scales, chords, arpeggios, and patterns on one neck. Save the workspace and load its musical Layers into the Metronome or Drum Machine. Each Layer becomes a timed step, so the fretboard changes with the beat while you play. Pro Tempo Trainer can raise the tempo from your chosen Start BPM to Target BPM. USE KEY FINDER WHILE YOU JAM Key Finder listens to a chord passage and estimates three likely major or minor candidates. Open one in Explorer, find a familiar pentatonic or scale position, and inspect the available chords. Results are labelled Strong, Possible, or Uncertain because more than one key can fit the same music. NeckPilot does not record, save, or upload it. The app contacts the App Store when it loads, purchases, restores, or verifies Pro. On supported systems, it may also check Apple's service for a reviewed declarative instrument-catalog update. Metronome and Drum Machine playback can continue with the screen locked.
