When the app is working it’s good. Some Podcasts only have content that is multiple years old. Will there be an update made to show who is “On Air” on the home page? Maybe making it a “Live” section above or below “Voices”. It would be helpful to be able to distinguish between “Off Air” and “On Air” content. Looking forward to the growth of this app and being able to share with friends. ### 5/5 — Exceptional Product; Better Team *2020-12-03, version 6.0.2* Nēdl is taking the first step in changing the way we interact with the medium of audio. It’s no longer just listening to what you’re told, it’s interactive and it’s democratized — including the ability to search for specific words being spoken live by others and the option to broadcast yourself (and be searchable) within a channel. As much as I could go on about the current success of this app and the revolutionary promise it holds, Ayinde (the founder) and his team are also first class professionals and people. If anything, check Nēdl out because that’s what you do for good folks trying to make the world better. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I would like to try this app to see if I’d like it. I’m going to hang onto this apis in hopes that this bug will be fixed. For the reason, plus you have to sign up to use the app, I’m going to have to give this app the lowest possible rating. Now my favorites are two little lines. ### 1/5 — Sickening Lack of Accessability for Blind iOS Users *2019-04-15, version 4.0.1* I utilize VoiceOver, which is the screen reader used for Apple, seeing as how you need a discription of some kind since you appear to have no concept of it since it was clearly not factored into app development. Anyway, when attempting to go live both times, the whole phone froze, I lost speech and had to restart it to get it back and this is completely not acceptable. I suggest you get this fixed to avoid making more users mad, because you have already lost me. I will not take back any part of this statement, Hunter W ### 1/5 — this app isn't even worth it *2019-03-16* this app isn't even worth it especially if you're blind, if you search for an artist, it doesn't show you the artist that you are hoping for, if you get that artist it's very rare, but if you want to create your own live radio station you can't unless you pay something but it doesn't tell me if I can cancel that subscription if I don't want it any more, this is pathetic and I don't think this should be happening any more, no wonder it doesn't have enough reviews because people can't even use it! The ability to have my own station and have any one tune in via the internet let’s me communicate with my entire audience no matter the device. The transcribing is another game changer that allows for me to connect directly with the parts of my audience that may not want to come up on stage. Looking forward to working the NĒDL team to put my station on the 🗺 ### 5/5 — For once, I feel heard!! *2021-04-10, version 6.0.11* Nēdl is a tremendous platform and before I continue let me make this statement. This app is not an alternative, it’s the main destination! Nēdl really has given me one of the most breathtaking communication experiences I’ve ever had, and allowed me to have that just with my phone. Firstly it gives you the platform you’ve always wanted. Signing up alone gives you essentially your own radio station, with a shareable link which is just awesome. But being able to invite people onto that station and have others join as well? Incredible. But wait there’s more. It is interactive to the point where not only the audience can call into speak, but they can message in to talk and bring points. It’s riveting to be able to send a message and get a immediate genuine audio reaction to it from a real person, and vice versa to see an authentic message and react to it. What I find most compelling is the transcription software which is clearly built ground up and state of the art. So it’s inclusive to everyone, things you’ve missed or want to clarify/capture you can scroll and read, but where this interests me the most is exploration. Remember scrolling through radio just by numbers, AMs, and FMs. The most updated this has gotten in the 21st century is maybe channel names? Well nēdl brings you live topics, names, words, anything picked up in transcription as a way for users to find what they like. You a packers fan? You can scroll the feed, or search Aaron Rodgers and find the chat of someone who mentioned him just 5 minutes ago.
