Every person you pass by in your daily life has the potential to give you valuable information or connections.
neeboor is a new social media that hacks society and your local area to provide new discoveries and connections.

Shout: Share your experiences to other nearby users!

Room: Virtual spaces to interact with other users and real-place! Create your original room by customizing the theme, color, photo or skin.

Spot: Location information of places you have visited. You can create and share your own original spots on your map!

Passer: You can view other users nearby as passers. Follow users that interest you!

■ Uses:

1. Local rooms: Virtual spaces to chat locally! If you`re moving out and want to find friends in your new neighborhood, local rooms are perfect for that! Connect with neighborhood, university, college and have meetups!
Rooms aren`t restricted to meeting locals either: you can create or join rooms that share interesting content outside of your area.
ex. "Long Beach Surfers!", "UCLA freshmen", "freshmen dorm room", etc.  

2. Shout it out!: Share your experiences real time and real place! You can find/create interesting spots and share them to your friends or nearby users! A great way to become an influencer if you`re aiming to be one. 
ex. "The best food in LA", "Greatest entertainment spot in SF!", etc. 

3. Event rooms: Create rooms at sports game and live events to share your experience with other users in the same location! Interact with other users during breaks and share your opinions!
ex. Sports events (Superbowl, NBA, MLB, NHL), concerts, street performances, public viewing

4. Finding people with common interests: Share your location to find and connect with people who have common interests nearby! neeboor enables you to discover new things in your local area or wherever you`re going out because it is location based!
ex. outdoor hobbies (hiking, fishing, parks, sports, travel), music, memes, etc.

5. News/information media: neeboor has an open community, so rooms and shouts are not restricted to your country or area. That`s why you can network not only within your regional area, but the world.  Communicate Globally!
ex. politics (president elections, political meeting live commentary), news and emergencies (information pipeline during natural disasters), etc.

Unlike other location based apps (such as nextdoor or zenly), neeboor is not restricted to your local area or existing friends. In neeboor, you can reach out to people outside of your area and make new friends!

Also, all posts in neeboor can be shared to other external social media apps such as instagram, facebook, snapchat, twitter, whatsapp, etc. Share anything interesting to users that don`t have neeboor yet!

知らない間にフォロー、フォロワーが増えてる。
何も操作してないし、登録した瞬間にフォローが12人？になってて？？しかなかった。
しばらく様子見てたらフォロワー5人に増えてた。
自分ではやり方も分かってないので、何もしてないのに増えてて怖いしか無い。
外すのも相手に何か思われたら嫌なので出来ない。不安。
なにこれ？何の基準？
アプリの使い方とか読んでも何の意味も無い。書いてない。
書いてて欲しい事が書いてない使い方ってなんだろ？としか思えない。
近くの人もいなさそうだし、相互フォローと言うか、何か飛ばし合わないと会話は出来なさそうなので、もうやめると思う。
謎すぎて無理。

Neebor is a fun app for learning about unique local spots like free libraries / book exchanges, free fridges, fruit stands, etc., truly the kind of places that you won’t learn about on Yelp / top ten lists of places to visit when you’re traveling, etc. It’s also a great way to learn what your friends are up to and keep in touch with them about it plus make new friends in the area.

ユーザー数はまだまだこれからという段階だが、投稿時のエフェクトやルームのカスタマイズ性などUI/UXを徹底的に追及したのだろうというのが手にとるように伝わってくる。

また、サービス設計も柔軟で応用性が高く、ユーザーがこれくらい増えたらこんな使いかたもできそうだというイメージがどんどん湧いてくる不思議なアプリだ。

新しもの好きな方はユーザー基盤の弱さに惑わされず、自分が第一人者になるくらいの意気込みでぜひどんどん使ってみてほしい。スルメアプリなのに決してニッチだったり渋いわけではなく、王道アプリの路線を行きつつ奥行きが深いという印象だ。

必ずこれから飛躍していくアプリだと思う。今後の成長が楽しみだ。
