I’ve had so many times when I’ve needed to have a reader for an audition, and haven’t been able to find one. And let’s just say recording my own voice and auditioning with myself doesn’t leave a great impression. However, with this app I found that I am able to do an effective audition that is submission worthy within minutes. There have been many times I didn’t want to read with friends so they’d get to experience the punch lines and shocking moments. It gets two stars because I tried to sign up to be a reader and I get to the page to submit headshot and resume push next and nothing happens. Just a load screen and then nothing changes. Got an actor response but each time I send a chat message, I get an error message!! I don't get an opportunity to read the entire message because it's sideways and it flashes so quickly! My reader's cell number disconnects every time I call so, I have no other way of getting in touch with her!! Ugh!! I am at a Deadline!! Frustrating!!! ### 3/5 — Great Idea with Fatal Flaw *2025-02-02, version 3.8.9* In this age of so many options to FaceTime and Zoom, why is there a 100 mile limit to connect with someone to read with you? It’s extremely limiting. 100 miles or a 1,000 miles - makes no difference to me for online readings. The hiccups I have faced with this app on previous versions have been resolved within a matter of hours and the people behind it are simply terrific. They make this app so fun and the interface is both wonderful in terms of usage and eye catching. The fact that you have all your takes in the conversation with your reader right after you film is marvellous and the ability to edit and re upload is top notch. The feature to also change locations is AMAZING because you have so many options to have actors with different accents in different countries. I am so BEYOND ELATED THAT I found this app and have the ability to have much more ease when needing to film self tapes. Thank you thank you thank you!
