This is the improved version 3.1.3 of the NeedyMeds Drug Discount Card app for iPhone. You can now save medication lists for multiple people and quickly obtain drug prices for medications on that list. You can have the prices along with the med card information emailed or sent as a text. Show the downloaded card image with the prices to the pharmacist to save up to 80% off the cost of your prescriptions. The discount also applies to over-the-counter medications and medical supplies (if the doctor writes a prescription) and pet prescription medications purchased at a pharmacy. There are no fees or registration. It is active immediately and never expires. Anyone can use the card as there are no income, insurance, age, or residency requirements. Share the card with family and friends. The card cannot be used in combination with insurance or federal or state programs, but it may be used in place of these programs if the savings is greater. The card is accepted at over 65,000 pharmacies, including major and regional chains and local stores. Use the pharmacy search to find participating pharmacies near you. Now it freezes every time. *2023-01-15, version 3.1.3* A year ago and prior, it worked like a charm! And gave me some of the lowest prices out there. But now it freezes every time. Even tried deleting and re-downloading the app. It can’t get past the database update stage. Freezes at 100% or 0%. And occasionally gives error message: “HTTP ERROR, PHARMACY-DATA, RESPONSE WITH STATUS: 0 FOR URL: NULL” y’all have a fix of is this app EoL? ### 1/5 — Update it… *2023-01-07, version 3.1.3* This is a waste of an app, does nothing. ### 1/5 — App freezes *2022-12-09, version 3.1.3* As soon as I try to add a medicine the app freezes ### 1/5 — Does not work *2022-09-20, version 3.1.3* See above ### 1/5 — App freezes consistently *2022-08-28, version 3.1.3* 28 Aug 2022, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15.6.1 This app hasn’t been updated in >3 years, and I sincerely doubt that any further iOS updates will fix the critical bug(s) impacting the app. As others have described, this app completely freezes/hangs when attempting to selecting a drug/dosage while searching in the Medication List and Drug Price Search. This can only be “reset” by manually killing the app and launching it again. The app is almost completely worthless without a fix from the developer. ### 1/5 — Unresponsive App *2022-08-28, version 3.1.3* This app sounded like a good idea, sadly it’s unresponsive for iPhone 13 Pro Max. Just use their website instead.
