## What is Neetter?

Neetter is the social home for gamers. Follow the people you know and the games you love, and get one fast, chronological feed of both.

Most feeds bury what you care about. Neetter doesn't. You follow people and you follow games, and every post can be tagged to the games it's about — so your feed is the players and titles you're actually into, in the order they posted.

FOLLOW GAMES, NOT JUST PEOPLE
Every game has its own home, with a feed, news, and everything the community is saying about it. See how many players are playing it, have finished it, or want it, and find its DLC, editions, and series. Follow a game and it shows up alongside the people you follow.

DISCOVER WHAT TO PLAY
The Games page shows what's trending, coming soon, newly released, and just updated, plus critically acclaimed picks that change daily. Signed in, see what the people you follow are playing, and games like yours.

KEEP A RECORD OF WHAT YOU PLAY
Log what you're playing, want to play, or finished. Rate it, write a review, and note every platform you played it on. Played it before release? Your review is marked pre-release, and you can say how you played it, from a review copy to a demo. Keep a wishlist of the games you want next. Link Steam to show your playtime and achievements, and bring your Steam games into your shelves.

MAKE LISTS WORTH SHARING
Rank your favorites on a Cover Wall, or sort them on a Tier Board with tiers you name and color yourself. Answer Community Lists, the prompts everyone answers with a list, like the games that raised you: see everyone's picks, add yours, or start a prompt of your own. Like the lists you love, and share any list as a picture.

POST WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING
Text, images, clips, and polls, which can show a picture for each option and let you change your vote until they close. Tag the games they're about, starting from the ones you've tagged lately and the ones you follow, each shown with its cover, and add your own hashtags. Trim a clip and choose its thumbnail before you post. Paste a link and it becomes a card with the page's picture, paste a YouTube link and it plays right in the post, or copy an image from anywhere and paste it straight in.

VIDEOS THAT JUST PLAY
Videos keep their own shape and play muted as you scroll, one at a time. Tap the speaker for sound, or open one full screen to change the speed or rotate it.

FIND YOUR SQUAD
LFG posts carry platform, activity, rank, party size, and whether you need a mic, so you're matched with people who actually want the same session you do.

PLAY GAMEDLE
A new game to guess every day, with a share grid when you get it. Stuck? Two hints unlock as you guess, and you choose what each one reveals. Turn on reminders if you'd like a nudge when the new puzzle is live, and another before today's ends.

MESSAGE YOUR PEOPLE
Direct messages, one to one or in a group, with photos (up to four at once), clips, GIFs, reactions, and voice messages you can drag through and speed up. Send a post to one friend or several at once. Links show as cards, you can see who's active now, and you can mute a chat for an hour, until tomorrow, or until you turn it back on.

STAY IN THE LOOP
Get notified when someone replies, likes your post or review, or follows you. In Settings, choose whether replies, likes, and reposts notify you.

SEARCH THAT FINDS THINGS
One search returns games, people, and posts together, grouped so you can see what kind of thing you found. Each game is labeled with its type.

BUILT TO BE FAST AND QUIET
A content-first interface, no dark patterns, no manufactured urgency, no tricks to keep you scrolling. A chronological feed is always one tap away, and your data is never sold.

Neetter Pro is an optional subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.7 — 2026-10-07

Link your Steam account, find what to play next on a new Games page, and see everything that belongs to a game on its About tab, from its DLC and editions to the rest of its series.

STEAM
• Link Steam in Settings › Game accounts to show your games, playtime and achievements on your profile, and tap through to your whole Steam library.
• Bring your Steam games into My games. The ones you've played start ticked, and each lands on a shelf from how you've played it: Playing if you've played it in the past two weeks, Completed if you've unlocked every achievement.
• Turn off Show on my profile to keep it to yourself.

THE GAMES PAGE
• A place to discover games: a spotlight up top, then rows for what's trending, what's coming soon, new releases, games that just got an update, and critically acclaimed picks that change every day.
• Signed in, you'll also see what the people you follow are playing, and more games like the ones you play.
• Browse every game below, with sort and filters behind one button. It turns purple when you change them.

GAME PAGES
• A game's About tab shows what kind of game it is, links an expansion, edition or mod to its base game and a remake to the original, and lists its DLC and add-ons, editions, remakes and remasters, the bundles it's in, the rest of its series, and its mods.
• Search labels every game with its type, like Main game, DLC, Expansion or Edition, so a game is easy to tell from its add-ons.

YOUR GAMES
• Sort and filter a profile's games in a sheet that slides up. Every sort runs both ways, and the rating filter shows the games given exactly that rating.
• Liked and Wishlist keep the filters that apply to them.

GAMEDLE
• Remakes count now, as guesses and as answers. Where a remake shares its title with another game, it's labeled (Remake).

FIXES AND POLISH
• Swiping between For You and Following brings the top and bottom bars back.
• Switching tabs on a profile or a game page keeps the tab bar where it was.
• Tagged games show their square cover art where a game has one.
• On a review, the heart for liking the game is now red.
• New to Neetter? The games to follow keep loading as you scroll, and you can go back from any step of setup.

Update, then link Steam and see your playtime on your profile.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-10-04

Polls work the way they should: pictures show properly, and you can change your mind while a poll is open. Plus a clearer way to say how you played a game before it's out, and Neeko now runs while things load.

POLLS
• Polls with pictures show each option's picture properly, instead of one tall, empty box.
• Changed your mind? Tap another option to move your vote while the poll is open, or tap Remove to take it back.
• Your pick is marked with a check in the results. Once a poll closes, its results are final.

REVIEWS
• Reviewing a game before it's out? How did you play? now opens a list with an icon for each answer: a review copy, early access, a closed or open beta, a demo, or a preview event.
• The reminder above it now reads in full, in every language.

PROFILES AND GAMES
• On a profile or a game page, a short tab now scrolls the header out of the way, so even a single post shows in full.
• On a game's page, news stories no longer repeat that game's tag.

WHILE YOU WAIT
• While something loads, Neeko runs in place. With Reduce Motion on, Neeko stands still.

Update, then vote in a poll, and change your mind if you like.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-09-30

Your lists, reimagined. Rank your favorites on a Cover Wall, sort them on a Tier Board with tiers of your own, answer the prompts everyone is answering in Community Lists, and share any list as a picture. Plus a composer that puts your games first.

LISTS
• Make a list as a Cover Wall, your games ranked three across, or as a Tier Board that starts at S to D.
• Arrange it in place: hold a cover to move it along a wall, or tap a cover to put it in a tier.
• Make a Tier Board yours. Add tiers, up to ten, then name each one, pick its color from thirteen, and move it up or down. Remove a tier and its games wait in Not placed yet.
• Community Lists are prompts everyone answers with a list, like "Games that raised me". See everyone's picks, browse the answers by Top or New, tap Make yours to add your own, or start a prompt of your own.
• Lists has two tabs: My Lists for yours, and Community Lists.
• Like a list, and share it anywhere as a picture. Share on Neetter starts a post with the picture already attached.
• Adding games to a list finds more than the games already on it, and shows each one's year and developer so the right one is easy to spot.
• Delete a list from the trash button at the top, beside Done.
• Links to lists and Community Lists open right in the app.

POSTING
• Your games come first: the games you tag sit above your text, each with its cover, just as the post will show them.
• Tag a game opens on the games you've tagged lately and the ones you follow, and searches as you type. It counts how many you've tagged, up to four.
• Editing a post shows its games the same way, above the text, with Tag a game and its count.

FIXES AND POLISH
• The composer's Cancel and Post no longer slip under the status bar, and its toolbar stays clear of the home indicator.
• In Notifications, tap someone's picture or name to open their profile. The rest of the row still opens what the notification is about.

Update, then rank the games that raised you and share your Cover Wall.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-28

Keep a wishlist, send posts straight to your chats, and play voice messages even on silent. Plus game covers on every post, a photo viewer that fills your screen, and a long list of fixes.

YOUR GAMES
• Keep a wishlist of the games you want next. Add one from its log sheet, and find them all under Profile → Games → Wishlist. A wishlist is separate from your shelf, so a game can be on both.
• Log every platform you played a game on, not just four.
• Each status now says what it means, and Played on is a checklist you can search ("ps5" finds PlayStation).
• Add to list now works from the log sheet: tick every list a game belongs in, or start a new one with the game already in it.
• A game's About tab shows how many players are playing it, have finished it, or want it.
• Games are named with their year on their page, in the log sheet and in the long-press preview, so a remake and the original are easy to tell apart.
• Removing a game says exactly what happens: it comes off your games, and your rating and reviews stay.

POSTS
• Every game tagged in a post shows its cover, right under the author's name. One game shows its full title; several share a row you can swipe.
• A review shows the icon for its status, like a trophy for Completed.
• Links, @mentions and #tags turn purple as you type them.
• Your photos sit right under your text as you write. One keeps its own shape; several share a row you can scroll, each with its own remove and ALT buttons.
• Share a post from one sheet: pick from your chats and groups or search for anyone, add a message, and send it to each person separately or start a new group. Copy link is there too.

MESSAGES
• Voice messages play even when your phone is on silent, and a recording is no longer cut short.
• Drag through a voice message, or play it at 1.5x or 2x. New ones show the waveform of what was said.
• Videos play right in the chat, and photos, GIFs and videos open in one viewer where you can reply to them or forward them.
• Long-press a message and it shows just as it does in the chat, a GIF still playing.
• Tap a reaction to see who reacted with what, and tap yours to remove it. Reactions are a little bigger, too.
• A message that's only emoji is drawn large, without a bubble.
• A post shared into a chat shows when it was posted, and its link card if it has one.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
• The photo viewer fills your screen and never crops the picture.
• Tap a post's text in the photo or video viewer to read all of it.
• Links in a post work everywhere: tags, people and Neetter links open in the app, and anything else opens without leaving it.

GAMEDLE
• Attribute names are in your language, and never break in the middle of a word.
• A puzzle keeps your guesses when you look at another day's and come back.
• Games you've already guessed can't be picked again from the suggestions.

FIXES AND POLISH
• A post that went out no longer says "Couldn't post", and when something does fail, you're told which part.
• When a Neetter link opens the app, the back arrow takes you Home instead of doing nothing.
• Deleting a review removes it everywhere at once, stars included.
• Muting or blocking someone takes effect right away, and undoing it brings their posts back.
• Liked hearts, the post bell and a message's pin show as on when they're on.
• GIFs that showed as a broken image now load.
• Neetter's own icons replace the emoji and symbols that stood in for them, and filled icons show their details properly.
• Signing up shows each game's whole cover and its year.

Update, then add the next game you want to your wishlist.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-25

A fresh new look: every icon in the app has been redrawn as one soft, rounded family. Plus trimming and thumbnails for your videos, up to four photos per message, link cards, and Gamedle hints.

NEW LOOK
• Every icon is new, drawn as one friendly family, so the whole app finally looks like it belongs together.
• The tab you're on, and anything you've switched on, now shows a solid purple icon.

VIDEO
• Before you post a video, preview it, trim it to the best part, and pick the frame everyone sees first.
• Videos in the feed keep their own shape — a tall clip stays tall — and play muted as they scroll into view, one at a time. Tap the speaker in the corner for sound.
• Tap a video to open the full-screen player, where you can change the speed or rotate it.

MESSAGES
• Send up to four photos in one message. They show as a grid outside the bubble.
• Links in messages are tappable now, and the first one shows as a card with the page's picture and title.
• See when someone was last active: "Active now", or how long ago.
• Mute a chat for 1 hour, 8 hours, until tomorrow, or until you turn it back on — or mute all messages at once in Settings.
• Reactions now sit neatly on the message they belong to.

POSTS AND PHOTOS
• Paste a link into a post and it becomes a card with the page's picture and title.
• Like, repost, save, or reply without leaving a photo you've opened.
• Pasting a copied image now pastes the picture itself, not a link to it.
• When you tag games, the picker shows each game's full cover, release year, developer, and publisher, so the right one is easy to spot.

GAMEDLE
• Stuck? Two hints unlock as you guess, at guesses 5 and 8, and you choose what each one reveals.
• The guess picker shows each game's whole cover instead of a square crop.

PROFILES AND GAMES
• Profile and game-page tabs are now icons, and so are the platforms on a profile.
• A profile's buttons now sit together in one row.
• When you write a review, pickers and the editor slide up inside the sheet instead of opening on top of it.

SUPPORT AND FEEDBACK
• Attach screenshots or a screen recording when you contact support, so we can see exactly what went wrong.
• Add images to your posts on the feedback board.

FIXES
• Tabs no longer open to a blank screen.
• In dark mode, screens no longer show a pale edge as they slide in and out.
• The pull-to-refresh spinner only appears when you pull, and no longer gets stuck over Messages.

Update, then trim your next clip before you post it.
