WHY BOTHER OFFERING THIS APP: Negotiation isn't just for business. It's everybody's business. Every day. That means daily practice. It doesn't have to be a time suck or feel like SAT prep. Even 6 minutes per day will sculpt your everyday negotiation confidence and prowess. The key is to practice in low stakes familiar contexts where you can afford to get it "wrong." When the higher stakes negotiations crop up in your life (and they will), you'll already be thinking of yourself as a confident and competent negotiator. Based upon the book (peppered with “Super Tips” throughout), “For the Forces of Good: The Superpower of Everyday Negotiation” by S. Lucia Kanter, the Super Tips app waltzes you through daily prompts (or "reps," if you will) to keep your daily negotiation groove on. WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT: First of all, because it’s simple. It’s the digital version of reading your daily horoscope or the deck of daily affirmations that you keep on a side table and grab one each day as you head out the door. Second, because it’s fun. Like cracking open a fortune cookie, you wonder what each daily tip will say (on a timer, so you can only “flip over” a new Super Tip by waiting 24 hours after you’ve seen the most recent tip). Also like a fortune cookie, some tips may seem “meh” to you at first. But let it sink in and play with it. There’s a reason each Super Tip made the cut and is included (and ordered as it is in the full deck). Third, because it’s effective.
