## What is Neighborhood Check?

Check the neighborhood before purchasing or renting you next home!
The App provide the following information:
- Population & distribution at different granularities: from county -> zipcode -> census tract -> census block (also nearby block aggregation); Including race, birth countries, households income, families, children, education levels, and much more information!
- Latest Crime data for the last 6 months (updated frequently!), including all details (e.g. date time, address, description, case number, local police department source, etc);
- Detailed School information including school attendance boundary, school test score summaries, school test scores by various student groups and dimensions (e.g. low-income, disabilities, different races, different parents education levels)
- Noise level from aviation/airport, railways, roads, highways;
- Superfund & National Priority List information, include details;
- Homeless Shelters include details;
- Electric Transmission Lines with detailed voltage information;
- Odor smell map (Only for Milpitas, BayArea, CA);
- Search any address or place on the map, and find the nearby information around that location.

You can also open this app and automatically search a shared address from other apps (e.g. RedFin, Zillow).

Our App currently covers data mostly for BayArea, California, but we are working VERY HARD to expand coverage to the entire United States.

I paid for this app to specifically see the neighborhood safety and crime stats for each location. But when you apply the crime stats, no matter what I do it consistently says i need to zoom in close there’s too many to display. It’s a real bummer.
