The trailer was solid easy to load and pulled great the entire way. The app made the whole process great and stress-free from finding the trailer to booking and pickup. I highly recommend using Neighbor’s trailer for any trailer rental across the country! ### 5/5 — This app is legit *2025-11-05, version 12.7.4* I was a bit skeptical about renting a trailer from a stranger and not a company but this app is awesome! There are many trailer options and way more flexible than other companies like U-haul. The cost is comparable with others but there is a refundable deposit which I didn’t mind since the owners are risking renting out their trailers. After there app not working delaying me 2 days. they took my credit card info and pushed the transaction through. When I realized I didn't need the trailer because of delay they say no refunds. When you meet Support, you are inundated with AI rather than actual people that can help you. I hear some people have had an OK experience, but I will never use this app again. ### 1/5 — Too many hidden fees *2026-06-06, version 12.9.2* Rented a trailer for $65 a day and wasn’t able to bring it back within 24 hours so I extended it for another day. I still returned it the same day but a few hours later. The total cost was $182.50! The guy that rented to me wanted to partially reimburse me but Neighbors Trailer has a $25 processing fee for reimbursements and they don’t allow us to exchange contact information! That shouldn’t even be legal right? I will not be renting from Neighbors Trailer again. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2026-05-14, version 12.9.1* Waste of time. I found a trailer close by that was available with a 15 minute pick up time after booking. I did not know that the person renting the trailer has to approve the booking and of course you have to pay for the booking first. The person still has not approved the booking. I don't even believe the guy had a trailer and I lost $580 in income. Will never use again now I have to wait three days to get my money back. The company said it was on me to confirm that a cargo trailer could haul cargo safely and legally. Charge me full price for Rental. Owner rejected the booking says the trailers are down for repair. I was refunded $7. Neighbors trailers advice was to try and rent another one. The nearest trailer rental & sales place to us is over 2 hours away which makes it completely unrealistic. This app allowed us to find a horse trailer rental 10 minutes away from our horse. Absolutely love the convenience and also the protections it gives us for the transactions and everything. The only issue we had is we can’t upload our photos but I emailed their customer service and they were super responsive so hopefully they’ll get that fixed quickly.
