## What is Nelsonville Music Fest?

The Nelsonville Music Festival takes place September 2-4, 2022 outside Nelsonville, Ohio featuring over musical acts over three days on multiple stages along with on-site camping, artisan vendors, kids activities, food, a beer garden, and more. NMF is a presentation of Stuart’s Opera House, a non-profit historic theater and performing arts center in Nelsonville, Ohio. Billboard has called Nelsonville Music Festival “one of the best-kept secrets of the U.S. music festival circuit,” and in our 15th year, NMF continues to gain fans who want a music festival with a more personal experience. Set in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeast Ohio, this intimate festival offers live music from a variety of genres on multiple stages from national, regional, and local acts. Catch live music on multiple stages! The Nelsonville Music Festival strives to have a positive impact on our community and environment, so we are a Zero Waste event, diverting over 92% of the waste created at the festival from the landfill in 2018 with recycling and composting. All kids 12 and under are free and the festival features a huge kids area with activities all weekend. The AV Club and Ohio Magazine have named NMF as the “Best Music Festival in Ohio,” and Time Out Chicago has called it “one of the Midwest’s best festivals.” Past performers have included Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Ween, Loretta Lynn, Gillian Welch, John Prine, The Avett Brothers, They Might Be Giants, The Decemberists, Randy Newman, Merle Haggard, Iron & Wine, Yo La Tengo, George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Courtney Barnett, and many more. The Nelsonville Music Festival is a production of Stuart’s Opera House, a historic, non-profit theater located in Nelsonville that features over 75 events a year including live music, theater, films, educational programming and more. So it won’t show me a schedule.   I can star anything until it shows me something.  Where is the schedule!?  The map shows up great and is accurate - but this is my 7th year coming and I don’t need a map.

Kudos to whoever designed and coded this app!  It has a great intuitive layout.  Super easy to star shows you want to hit, contains artist bios with links to their websites and YouTube so you can preview artists, a map of the venue that looks like it will show exactly where you are on the grounds.... once I arrive!   Again thanks to all those involved, great job!!
