## What is Nemolines?

Nemolines is first-letter line memorization for actors. Paste your sides and every word collapses to its first letter. The cue is there. The line has to come from you.

The method has a name: Coral Cadence. A steady metronome pulse sits under your drill, one simple click, never a pattern. You set the tempo between drills, and the beat holds you to it. Recall on a pulse is the mechanic the whole app is built around.

FOUR WAYS TO DRILL

Read. Your full text and its first-letter skeleton, one tap apart. Toggle back the moment you need the words.

Flash. One word at a time, full screen. Its first letter lands on the beat and you supply the word. The beat does not wait. Every beat is a word you know or a word you don't. This is the drill the app is built around.

Recite. Say the line from memory and Nemolines follows your place in the script, phrase by phrase, moving on when it hears the phrase land. The other three modes move when you move them. Your voice is heard on this iPhone and never recorded or uploaded. Part of Nemolines Plus.

Prompter. The whole script scrolls at your pace, in full text or first letters, for running the piece top to bottom.

BUILT FOR THE WORK

Paste from anywhere: Nemolines strips markdown and formatting clutter on the way in, and the cleanup always lands in the editor for your review first. Import PDF, Markdown, or plain text sides. Dictate lines and they are transcribed on this iPhone, never uploaded. Set tempo and pace per script. Blank lines survive as memory cues.

WHAT NEMOLINES REFUSES TO BE

No self-tape recorder. No AI reader voices. No streaks, badges, or reminders. One mechanic, built properly.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

No accounts. No analytics. No server of ours. Your scripts live on your iPhone, and in your own private iCloud if you switch sync on. Speech recognition runs on-device. There is a privacy policy, but the honest summary is: we never see anything.

Nemolines opens with "To be, or not to be" already loaded, so the first drill is thirty seconds away. Delete it when you bring your own.

First-letter cues handle hyphenated words properly: "well-known" becomes "w-k".

Also: moving between modes is faster, on-device voice recognition reaches older iPhones, the metronome tick recovers cleanly after a mode switch, and haptics run gentler on older devices.
