## What is Nenrin?

Read the years, zodiac and luck days of Japan — on one line

In Japan, years are counted two ways at once. 2026 is also Reiwa 8, and official forms, licences, certificates and museum labels often use only the second form. Nenrin puts both on the same line, for every year from 1600 to 2100.

Note: the app's interface is available in English, but the calendar data it shows — era names, zodiac signs, rokuyo — stays in Japanese, because that is how you will meet it on real documents. Readings are given in kana and romaji.

・The converted year appears as you type, so you get the answer without jumping

・The moon as you would see it that evening; 大安 taian is marked in red and full moons in yellow
