## What is nenspace?

An extended mind, not a second brain: your own, made larger. Your head holds about four things. nenspace holds the rest.

A brain does two things. It remembers and it thinks. Every app that calls itself a "second brain" only does the first, and leaves you to do the filing. Every AI chatbot does the second, but it thinks for you and is trained to agree with you.

nen-1 & nen-alia (the voice):

• nen-1 is trained alternatively to frontier models: concise where others pad, real where they flatter, quiet when nothing needs saying.
• Trained to help you, not to seem helpful. A refusal of the axis everyone else maximises.
• It searches the web when it needs to, and cites what it read. File and image input also included.
• Ask nen-1 on any page of the space about a notes page or a logbook entry. Add chats to spaces to keep your dialogues organised.
• The lo-fi of LLMs: the daily model you keep open to think, write, jot, decide, plan, query.

the space:

• tasks · notes · logbook · habits · memory.
• A good answer with nowhere to land scrolls away, space is the room where it lands: notes, habits, tasks, logbook, customisable to you.
• One surface that wants nothing from you, but holds everything for you.

the capture:

• A thought arrives at the wrong time...walking, cooking, mid-task.
• nenspace's memory catches it in five seconds.
• A space to hold thoughts before they develop, because not all thoughts need to be made into a 'thing' immediately.

the sift:

• The step other systems leave to you.
• Sift reads the pile of thoughts in memory, and proposes a home for each: a task for today, a note, a habit, a space...or simply set it down.
• And it notices what keeps coming back. Nothing moves without an ok. Everything is recoverable.
