Also it sometimes it crashes but other than that, the magazine is fun and entertaining. ### 4/5 — Decent *2013-10-14* A decent app for the mag that I love but, it needs an iOS 7 update so that it fits the screen. ### 4/5 — Fantastic improvement *2013-01-15* The latest app update makes a big change to reading within the NEO app - at long last, no more clunky page turn transitions! Everything loads faster and more fluidly, and the interface looks great. My only gripe, and it is a small one, is the yellow tint that everything turns when it can be pressed. It doesn't feel necessary. Other magazine apps survive without that - maybe just an underline if its in a paragraph - but the contents pages are now bathed in a pale yellow, which subtracts from the look of the magazine. Not really necessary, considering its a contents page! Other than that, a fantastic improvement. Wish it was available in newstand though. Nicely lil animated page flipping effect. I would like an option to just read the text for the articles and adjust the size of the print like zinio magazines. Zooming in & out of pages kind of gets old after a while. Though double tapping works to zoom into a section. Overall the mag is an enjoyable read. Thanks. Update: The iPad app worked better for me than on the iPhone. The amount zooming needed on the iPhone to read the articles makes it tough. Again, an option to read the text of the articles formatted for the iPhone's small screen would be greatly appreciated. ### 5/5 — Pointless *2011-04-01* The app WAS fantastic, I love reading neo best mag for Asian information but the latest update will not even let the app open! ### 3/5 — Excellent app but more back issues please! *2011-03-04* Great app, except for two (redeemable) things: (1) Please include more back issues, including the sold-out issues #73 and #74, which even those of us with paid-subscriptions somehow didn't receive!!! (Currently only issues from #75 are available.) (2) Those with print subscriptions should automatically be eligible for, or be able to switch to, online subscriptions. Otherwise, great app! The prices are okay but that isn't something I am going to grumble about. The content in the magazine has always been amazing and I hope more development goes into this app in the future to make this even better than getting a print version from the shop. Might not be noticeable on a low-res screen, but it sure is noticeable and annoying on a Retina display… I don't wanna have to zoom in on every page just to get a clear look at the images. I'd imagine it'd be pretty bad on a large screen like the iPad's too.
