Character variety and vast combo experimentation make for good replayability. Some glitches to report: with pocket dimension trinket when I exit the app and reload, the number of flasks are still there but half are empty. Also for the crystal grail trinket, once you finish a game, the max flask charges on the load out for your next run is only 1. I have also run into many cases where when I fight neon jester in phase 2, he will blackout (only hand showing) and stop taking damage. Also the math on some of your fates (though not limited to just fates) are reversed, for example in “quickening fragility” where it was meant to reduce cooldown to 30% actually increases by 30% (maybe confusion between cooldown and cooldown recovery?). I found this game a few days ago and preordered it. It started downloading this morning around 9ish. And I was really wanting to play it. I love these kind of games! Well I got a big disappointment, I tapped it to play and boom it crashed, tried again crashed, and again crashed. Smh, it was just released!, come on! Updated review : Well thank you for the fast reply and all. I did try to download it again a few more times after you sent the reply, and after the updated also. But it still doesnt go anywhere I tap the app and it starts and instantly it crashes. But thank you anyways. The controls are a bit clanky but over all the graphics are very neat and very easy to pick up ### 3/5 — I’ve been waiting for this to come out *2025-08-14* I play tap wizard 2 and have been for it to come out. I only have layer the game for like 30 seconds and I can already tell it’s going to be a great game. The first only thing I have to say is that it would be absolutely fantastic if you put a short introduction in a more cutscene way. on what everything is hand how exactly to play. Until o saw that you had to purchase the full game, and now the game doesn’t seem as fun anymore. **Developer response:** Hey there, thanks for the feedback! Glad you are enjoying the game. The game has an incredible aesthetic with gameplay that reminds be of vampires survivors and Pac-Man 256. Only wish the character movement was a little faster and that you start snowballing a little faster. Great game 8/10 ### 5/5 — Creative Rogue-Lite with Surprisingly Fast Pace. *2025-08-12* I’ve only played the demo for about an hour, but it seems there is a lot of progression depth within the full game. So far, the Artwork, Music, and Gameplay are all really fun. It makes me think of a Vampire Survivor game, but instead has a designated traversal direction, which I like. Cheers! :-) ### 1/5 — Worst movement and control I’ve ever played in a video game *2025-08-11* The way you control your wizard reminds me of my first car. It veers randomly, doesn’t go the same speed in every direction, and if the wizard had air conditioning it’d be stuck to the lowest setting. The bad controls have to be intentional. It’s simply impossible to design movement this badly on *accident*. It feels like one of those streamer rage bait games like QWOP or Getting Over It. Follow Touch is probably the most intuitive, but Fixed Joysticks is also quite easy. I launched the game with the Floating Joysticks + Preserve Momentum on Release setting, which I find best myself, but it looks like many players don't like. I have since changed the default control scheme. I actually like the art better here and the color palette. The options for controls are great and I recommend floating joystick for excellent control. Don’t know why some people haven’t tried to change it. Anywho, dev did a great job all around. ### 5/5 — Much better after the update *2025-08-14* The latest update really helped with the control issues, I feel like I can actually avoid enemies and their attacks now. I find the best way to play, at least with touch controls is to enable the option for “auto target when not manually aiming” then just use one thumb to move your character while it automatically shoots enemies for you and then when you need to dash you can tap the screen with your other thumb. The visuals are cool, great music, good upgrades/abilities, there’s loot, you can play in landscape or portrait mode which is great! Still on the fence about the full unlock price but I’ll spend some more time with it and then decide. Overall very good and the devs updated it immediately to fix the controls, can’t ask for much more than that! ### 5/5 — Great graphics, chill vibes *2025-08-13* Really love the graphics so it’s an aesthetic slam dunk for me.
