Based on the popular pocketbook ‘Neonatal Guidelines and Drug Doses’ which has sold over 10 000 copies, this electronic version is updated and has added content. This app is an excellent tool to have, which is readily available to use and easily accessible. It is quite user friendly and easy to utilize with a navigation bar, search bar, chapter option and an A-Z index. You can add notes, bookmark and even highlight too. Not only does it contain all the information about every topic pertaining to neonates, that you could ever think of, but is also all evidence-based protocols. The app is constantly being improved and updated so you will always have access to the latest guidelines. The once-off price of the app is definitely worth it, as you are walking around with a lifetime source of information. This app is not only for junior doctors like myself but is also a great reference tool for consultants too. Neonatal Guide is truly amazing in its quality of health information, overall design, usabilty, applicability and credibility.

We have listened to feedback and fixed minor glitches and broken links. This update has added content with the addition of more than 20 new chapters which includes Twin Births, Cyanosis in the Newborn, Shock, Acid-Base Disturbances, Renal Tubular Acidosis, Post Haemorrhagic Ventricular Dilatation, Ventricular Measurement, Intraosseous Line insertion and more.  Existing chapters have been revised after reviewing the most up-to-date evidence and have been improved to include additional content, new algorithms and images. There is improved functionality with new sub-sections for ease in searching for relevant information.
