## What is neonbreach?

Neon Breach is a portrait shmup with a twist: every enemy that slips past you drains your shields. You don't just shoot — you INTERCEPT.

Pilot one of four interceptor ships across 20 waves of escalating combat. Enemies rush the screen in formations — Runners flood, Fighters strafe and shoot, Shielded tanks push through your fire, and Swarms overwhelm. Every one that breaches your defense line costs you HP.

FOUR SHIPS, FOUR PLAYSTYLES
• Vanguard: balanced all-rounder
• Needle: glass cannon with rapid fire
• Bastion: armored tank with heavy hits
• Phantom: lightning-fast evasion specialist

FOUR EPIC BOSSES
• Sentinel: turret fortress raining laser spreads
• Hydra: three-headed serpent with wave bullets
• Mothership: capital ship launching radial bursts and homing missiles
• Archon: final boss with three escalating phases of bullet hell

BUILD YOUR LOADOUT
Collect pickups mid-wave: fire boost, damage boost, spread shot, shield bubbles, screen-clearing bombs. Spend energy cells at the between-wave shop on permanent run upgrades: dual cannons, rear guns, crit chance, speed boosts, and more.

ROGUELITE META-PROGRESSION
Earn Neon Cores every run based on waves survived, enemies killed, and bosses defeated. Spend them in the Hangar on permanent upgrades and new ship unlocks. Each ship has its own upgrade tree — invest in your favorite or spread the love.

PURE ARCADE ACTION
One-finger touch controls. Auto-fire. All visuals procedurally drawn. All audio procedurally synthesized. No loading screens, no login required. Pick up and play.
