## What is NEOscan?

This app helps you discover near-Earth objects (NEOs). Filter by their type (asteroid or comet), closest approach time, closest distance, and diameter.

For each NEO, the app shows you an Earth-Moon model with the asteroid (or comet) indicated at the proper location. The app also helps you understand the NEO's size by comparing it to a familiar object.

The data on NEOs is provided by NASA's Small Body Database (SBDB) and SBDB Close-Approach Data APIs.

## Key features

- Discover asteroids and comets
- Filter by type, approach time, distance, and diameter
- Earth-Moon model visualization
- Size comparison to familiar objects
- Data from NASA's Small Body Database

### 5/5 — This app is perfect, -exactly- what i searched for, thank you! :)

*2022-01-23, version 1.1*

I would give it 10 stars if possible, this app works perfectly like a charm, it can even process extremely large lists of asteroids (eg. if you combine min.size with max.distance and max.timespan). And everything for free! Thank you very much to the very generous developer(s). A big thumbs up from me.

### 1/5 — kein Kontakt zum Server

*2021-08-03, version 1.1*

Funktioniert nicht, weder mit iPhone 12 Pro Max noch mit iPad Pro, aktuelles iOS. Verbindet nicht zum Datenserver.
Wird jetzt gleich gelöscht…

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-04-06, version 1.1*

Had this for a month what a load of rubbish don’t bother with it it tells you nothing

### 4/5 — Basic but good

*2020-08-16, version 1.1*

On iPhone 7 Plus works ... the info is basic ... but is great app to get fast update on those pesky rocks ... homing in on Earth.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2020-04-11, version 1.1*

I’ve been looking for an app like this for a while, and it seems to take the data straight from JPL so very accurate

### 1/5 — Could not get to work

*2019-08-24, version 1.1*

Nothing I tried could get it to show any information.
