Is it possible to restore the previous behavior that allows you login to the root server? **Developer response:** Hello, you can switch back to the previous mode using the button in the upper left corner. Also, the pop-up window in the new mode can be turned off in the terminal settings. ### 4/5 — Top! *2026-06-27* Da hat einer mit sehr viel Plan eine sehr gute App geschrieben - ich liebe sowas 😁 Was mich allerdings mehr und mehr nervt, da ich es immer mehr benutze, ist das automatische beenden einer Session, sei es Terminal oder SFTP. Terminal ist nicht ganz so schlimm, weil man da relativ schnell wieder resumen kann, aber SFTP ist sehr nervig. Beispiel: ich gehe durch die Verzeichnisse, finde eine Datei die ich mir anschauen muss. Schaue sie an, muss kurz was gegenprüfen, wechsel die App, komme wieder: alles weg, wieder von vorne. In meinem jugendlichen Leichtsinn 😉 würde ich erwarten, dass ich genau da weitermachen kann wo ich aufgehört habe. Wenn eine Datei mit dem Viewer offen ist, genau da weitermachen, wenn ich irgendwo im Verzeichnis bin, da weitermachen und nicht immer alles komplett von Anfang an. Da verliert man die Lust die App für sowas zu benutzen. Edit: obiges Verhalten passiert nur, wenn man die Face-ID Sperre nutzt. It’s the most extensive one there is and the paid version for $30 lifetime is a steal of the century. I highly recommend ### 2/5 — OK when it works… *2026-04-12* The remote terminal and saved scripts features are great when they work… but getting and keeping this app connected to a server - especially unRaid - is a tragic mess. Maybe this is designed for something else, some specific server type I’m not familiar with. But it is unreasonably difficult to set up and even if you do get it connected, it’s slow and fragile. It takes forever to load data about dockers and VMs, presumably because it’s doing some query in the background that is general enough to work in most places but therefore not specific enough to be fast or native to anything. But the actual terminal experience on macOS is atrocious compared to iTerm2 or even plain ol Terminal. Whaterver they're using for ther terminal experience feels like something out of a web browser. I should not be accidentally zooming in or out on my terminal, and why does the copy mode seem to render text better (but still poorly)? The terminal's incompatibility with retina displays is another issue. The text renders as if it were at native res, so incredibly tiny, and blurry. **Developer response:** Indeed, the terminal is not a fully featured terminal; it is mainly for emergency use and is not intended to replace iTerm2 or the system's built-in terminal. I also primarily use iTerm2 in my daily work.
