### 1/5 — Not showing cursive

*2026-10-09*

I give this one star because it’s teaching fake cursive

**Developer response:** You were right, and thank you for saying so. The app was teaching pre-cursive — print letterforms joined with small flicks, the style most schools teach before full cursive — and nothing in the app or the description said that. That was our mistake, and it is exactly why it looked like fake cursive.

It now calls that style "Pre-cursive" everywhere, and the description explains what it is, so nobody arrives expecting something else. A traditional looped cursive alphabet is in progress and will be free when it is ready.

If anything else is wrong, support@spaikz.com comes straight to me. I would rather hear it and fix it.
