I genuinely believed I had cancelled the free trial, as I never used the app afterwards. I received no reminder before the annual renewal, only discovered the charge after it happened, cancelled immediately, and requested a refund the same day. Despite never using the renewed subscription, my refund request was refused. Very disappointing customer experience and subscription policy. ### 1/5 — AVOID *2026-07-02, version 2.2626.0* Do not download this app! I downloaded this app from TikTok very briefly, looked around and saw there were no food spots that I’m interested in, and I instantly deleted it. MONTHS LATER I had almost £40 deducted from my bank account, under NeoTaste, for a subscription I never signed up for. I don’t know how this could have even happened. I contacted their customer support to explain this and they’ve refused me a refund, telling me to ‘enjoy what the app has to offer’ which is absolutely nothing at all! And I never signed up for it in the first place…AVOID!!! ### 1/5 — Awful customer service *2026-06-15, version 2.2624.0* Amazing app and a good concept, but I joined on the premise of a free trial. Despite only using it once I could see I would find it useful in the future so I cancelled a week or so before the trial end date and was going to renew at a later date. For whatever reason the cancellation hadn't happened even though I was told that I had. I was later charged around 35 for an entire years subscription. I reached out to customer support and was told by Jana I would not be eligible for a refund despite the error on the apps side. Despite multiple emails back and forth explaining my situation and how I had actually cancelled. I was refused a refund and any further help. Appalling customer service and I am currently £35 down and can't use the app since I am home from university currently and my home town is my not available on the app so cannot even take advantage of the app. Won't be using again. ### 1/5 — Not worth your time *2026-06-15, version 2.2624.0* I was automatically subscribed to their monthly membership without proper notifications. I haven’t used it once after signing up as I realised it’s not working for me.
