For instance can it really know if a spyware, key logger or Trojan horse is active on our device? Hmm I sort of doubt it does so more transparency would be appreciated. I thought it might be because of the public beta OS. But it also cannot run on a normal 15.4 version. Updates: uninstall and reinstall the app can fix the issue. However, there are some non-English words displayed during system check with English language mode. ### 5/5 — The most comprehensive security app *2022-01-06, version 5.4.1* I have only been using the app for approximately 6 hours and already found one security problem, that was quickly and easily solved. This mobile security app throughly checks multiple sources and sends instant messages to your home screen. It takes just a few minutes to set up and the prompts can be mildly confusing to navigate. Once you have explored the options, the information is very useful in providing sufficient layers of protection. Thanks for a very useful app! ### 5/5 — Excellent Security and Information Utility *2021-10-22* Happy long-time user of Neptune Security and the developer is regularly updating for currency. In addition to a very detailed Device information tab, there’s an Orbit tab that shows all a summary of all the devices you have Neptune installed on. I did note a minor bug where it reports my firmware is out of date on an iPod Touch 7th Gen; I already have the latest iOS version (15.0.2) installed. ### 3/5 — In German *2021-10-18, version 5.4* It would be a lot better if this app was in English so I can at least make full use of it. Seems my review is not getting posted. iPhone 15 pro max iOS 7.3 ### 1/5 — Good App - Crooked Service. *2024-08-27, version 6.2.1* In short I had a subscription that lapsed. Instead of just dropping after the millionth rejection from my bank - it charged the Missus’ card when she just put her information into my phone because it was secondary. DIRTY POOL and she did not consent. This is the last time around your service will be on my devices - don’t care how good your service was/is ; this is unacceptable. I would have done it myself when I had the funds for it. Instead you put her into a panic wondering why there was an additional charge to the bank. Shame. ### 1/5 — 6.1.1 ? Froze up while downloading . Finally after shutting g phone off twice, finally got it. Opened it up and said my iphone 11 unsecure. But couldn’t read why half of it’s in English over half in German . I went to get app support, and it said my iPhone didn’t have the security certificates so brought me to another site called launch kit 404 with gift hub. Something like that. Looked all over for an email. Only a twitter account . But not everyone in this world has a twitter nor Facebook nor Instagram account . I need email. Then went back today now it says secure . I kind of doubt this app is doing anything at all but a waste of time and 99 cents! **Developer response:** Hello, We are sorry that you had problems with our app. iOS apps have no possibility of crashing an iDevice as this is eliminated beforehand by the operating system. This could be a bug in the AppStore. After many conditions and hurdles that the AppStore set us, we managed to publish an update of our app. We were able to fix translation errors and improve security analyzes. We apologize for this delay. And hope you give Neptune one more try.
