## What is Nerd on Call by OkieNerd?

Every corner of Oklahoma has a Nerd on Call.

Nerd on Call is a statewide network of friendly, background-checked Local Nerds who fix the everyday tech that drives you crazy — Wi-Fi that won't connect, a slow computer, a new phone, a TV that won't stream, a printer that won't behave. We come to your door, or we help over the phone. Always in plain English, never a call center.

WHAT WE HELP WITH
• Wi-Fi and internet trouble
• Slow or sick computers
• Phones and tablets — setup, backups, the works
• TV and streaming
• Smart home and cameras
• Locked out, hacked, or worried about a virus
• The odd small-business job

AT YOUR DOOR OR OVER THE PHONE
• Remote help — $39 for a 30-minute phone session. Pick a time that works and share your screen.
• House calls — $110 the first hour within 25 miles of your Local Nerd; $130/hr in the 25-50 mile band; $145/hr in the 50-75 mile band. The distance sets the rate, with no surprise travel fees.

BECOME A MEMBER — $14.99/MONTH
Membership includes 2 remote sessions and 1 in-person visit each year, 20% off the labor on any extra visit, and Text a Nerd — ask a quick question anytime, no meter. Backed by our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee. No contract, cancel anytime.

SETUP AND SUPPORT — NOT A REPAIR SHOP
We get your devices working and show you how to use them. We don't do screen replacements or board-level repair, and we'll tell you honestly when a job isn't ours.

REAL OKIES, ACROSS THE STATE
Every Local Nerd is interviewed and background-checked. Check live coverage for your town right in the app, book in a few taps, and get help at your door or over the phone. Questions? You'll always reach OkieNerd.

Download Nerd on Call and get a Nerd in your corner.

### 1/5 — This is a scam.

*2026-09-28*

Do not ever hire this company. They are micromanaged by someone who sets goals for his team and then destroys them. Unless you support Lawton idiots, you should never waste your time on this company.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.63 — 2026-09-26

Distances in the app now say they are measured from downtown of the city that serves your area.

### 1.62 — 2026-09-17

Booking runs on Oklahoma time everywhere, members see their plan's perks and any cancel adjustment before they tap, and the OkieNerd mark dresses up for Halloween from October 1.

### 1.61 — 2026-09-14

Sending a Nerd to someone is easier: just describe what they need help with in your own words, and their email is now optional.

### 1.60 — 2026-09-13

If it's broke, we fix it. The FAQ now says plainly what we fix (slow, frozen, locked out, won't connect, won't print) and that hardware repair is the one thing we leave to a parts shop. Also: sign-in stays reliable on every screen, and the calendar fallback button now says Call us.

### 1.59 — 2026-09-10

Booking a visit is five short steps: what needs fixing, your name and phone, the address, a time, and a quick review. Email is optional. Booking for a parent? Add their name and your Local Nerd asks for them at the door. A new look to match okienerd.com, and OkieNerd is a little more playful up top.
