### 4/5 — Fun but

*2022-09-20, version 1.2.8*

I’ve been playing Nerf Laser Ops Pro for quite some time but there’s one issue. When you are trying to play with a friend and use multiple devices, the app would crash before the match starts. I don’t know if this has been fixed but if it hasn’t please fix this because if you do I will change this review to 5 stars.

### 4/5 — Very nice but got old

*2022-08-03, version 1.2.8*

This app is works fine but has very minor but still enjoyable, the thing is it’s never been updated since 3 years and it’s hard to get one of the guns (Delta point & alpha burst) they not being produced nowadays.

GUN LEVER UP makes single & multiplayer mode Fun to replay, then you level up your gun you can upgrade it to make it stronger.

MULTIPLAYER is mostly you will play if have the gun and your friend(s)
Host or joint the game and play.

TIPS:1. If you want to play the multiplayer, I recommend All device so the level of your gun will work, if one device then you will play with your gun on level 1 (LEVEL DOEST NOT RESET THE PLAYING ONE DEVICE)

2. Play single player if you want to upgrade you gun, 1 drone destroyed = 1 XP

End

Bye…..?

### 4/5 — Muti player crash

*2021-12-02, version 1.2.8*

Every time you try to join a match the app crashes.

### 4/5 — Still a great way to play laser tag anywhere

*2021-02-17, version 1.2.8*

Pros:
• alphapoint fires almost 2X as fast when using multiple devices for multiplayer.
• by leveling up through either multiple device multiplayer matches or single player you can increase the Heath, ammo, damage per shot, Heath regen and damage of power shot!
• decent amount of customization including 3,5,10 or 15 min matches, allowing power ups or not and free for all or team matches.

Cons:
• Deltaburst has a lower max shot damage than the alphapoint and fires slower. Shame they never updated it to end with a higher shot damage to compensate.
• single player is ok but at level 8 and above the drones health keeps increasing but the points from them remains capped once you get to level 7. Should increase the points since the exp you get is based on overall points before you are disabled.

### 4/5 — One little feature

*2021-01-04, version 1.2.8*

This is definitely a great set for laser tag, it works well, and there are a ton of options to play with, the one thing that is missing is that you can’t play with uneven teams on one device. if you think about it, you may want to play with 2 better players against 4 ok players, and if not everyone has access to a device, it makes for a very predictable game

### 3/5 — Not bad though a few problems

*2020-03-17, version 1.2.8*

You can’t play non respawn games on the app and you can’t use power ups or upgrades if there is only one smart phone

### 4/5 — Great app but some problems

*2020-02-09, version 1.2.8*

I had this app on my Samsung tablet and I couldn’t do single player but I got a apple phone 5 and it worked like a charm. There were a couple problems/bugs though:
Even though I reached 1000 points The radar power up didn’t work until I went to the settings and turned on location for the app
And creating a one device multiplayer game didn’t work until I did the same thing in the settings

But an overall Great app. Love it.

Really pleased with the app

Hasbro... some suggestions
Maybe do a bit more with single player like maybe add something else besides drones like maybe robots that are easier to hit

And lower the level required to get a second level for a upgrade (like from 7 to 5 or something) but just some thoughts

And Maybe add a duel option so you only get 1 or 2 shots and you have to disable your opponent before they disable you

### 3/5 — Still no VoiceOver support

*2019-12-23, version 1.2.8*

I'm totally blind, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying a great game of laser tag. I simply listen to where my enemys are, and shoot in that general direction. Please add support for Apple's built-in screen reader, VoiceOver.

Update: it’s now 10 April. There still no voiceover support. I absolutely love laser tag, but it’s really not that hard to get in to this app. Come on, Hasbro. Please put voiceover support in to the application.

Update:
It’s now June 2019, and there is still no voiceover support. I own two laser ops pro blasters. Did I waste my money? Right now, it certainly seems so. Update: it is now December 21, 2019. There is (again), no VoiceOver support! I'd really like to be able to use this application, but it really seems to me that Hasbro doesn't care. I now own four Alpha Points, and two Delta Bursts. Please don't get me wrong, the blasters themselves are very fun. I wouldn't have purchased aditional blasters if they weren't. It's the application that's unusable. Please, Hasbro! If you really do care about your customers, then please release an update that addresses UI bug fixes for VoiceOver users, as well as additional customization options for your blaster. Thank you very much for taking the time out of your day to read this review. I'll very gladly give this application five stars, once the application is useable.. December 28

**Developer response:** Thank you for bringing this up to us.

### 4/5 — Can’t get radar power up

*2019-11-30, version 1.2.8*

I got exactly 1000 points and did not give me the power up

### 3/5 — I can’t

*2019-11-26, version 1.2.8*

I can’t get the gun to connect to my phone I did what the information said I probably sat there for like 30 mins waiting for it to add a blaster

### 3/5 — Idk

*2019-11-24, version 1.2.8*

Well I like the concept it could use a little more polishing and programming but it would be nice if you made some apps compatible for other guns like nerf rival or nstrike or other guns

### 4/5 — Thank you Nerf team

*2019-07-28, version 1.2.8*

Same as other reviewers, we love the game but we haven’t been able to see the scores from all the players. When it works it works wonderfully and when it doesn’t it is frustrating. We want to know who won!

### 4/5 — Trouble

*2019-07-12, version 1.2.8*

I love the game but my blasters won’t connect in multiplayer and it won’t let me go into all devices only one device so can the game creater plz help me

### 3/5 — GREAT but...

*2019-05-27, version 1.2.8*

I would like to see more customization options for the blasters such as fire rate, etc. and it would be more fun if you didn’t have to level up the blasters in the game, but instead it would just be straightforward, all-access customization. Basically you would have a menu where you could change the health, damage output, and type of fire mode whenever you want. This would let there be more skill involved when playing, and you wouldn’t have to rely on the phone so much to have a good blaster. You should just be able to hook up as many guns as you want to a single phone, then change all the guns’ options from there, then save, then turn off the phone and have each blaster set to a new standard that they would follow until changed again by the phone. You should be able to just pick up the guns whenever you want and not have to get out a phone, download the app, and all of the suddenly realize that your gun is so much better/worse than everybody else’s. The game would not be as fun. Again, you should be able to change each guns stats however/whenever you want, so you could level out all the guns to have an even playing field. The point being, it is very tedious to have to level up every single gun you buy in order to have a fair game.

Thanks

### 3/5 — Fun, cool, but 1 major problem.

*2019-05-20, version 1.2.8*

The blasters and app are fun to play with. I think maybe adding a mode without the timers for a last one standing game would be fun. I have one major issue. Whenever I level up my blaster and add the skill points, the app glitches out and resets my blaster when I go back in the app. Please fix this!

### 3/5 — Fun with some bugs

*2019-05-04, version 1.2.8*

I’m the 95% happy owner of 10 of these blasters, and I’m happy to change my rating to 5 stars once this is resolved. My issue is that the rematch feature is tricky. The blasters have to be off before you ever hit the rematch button. If you hit the rematch button while the blasters are on, you can forget it because now you’ll have to completely close out the app (flick it off the screen for iPhone users) and then restart it. Deal breaker?—no Annoying—yes? It seems like the blasters should be able to connect once you turn them off and try to reestablish connection, but it doesn’t.

Also the records for blaster against blaster don't work at all so it’s hard to brag about your all time record against your friends. If you select your blaster and then click all time record and then search the EXACT name of the blaster you’d like to compare to, nothing happens except that the blaster for which you just typed the exact name for to compare now switches places in the first line as if you basically just switched blasters. Maybe it’s because I own all of the blasters, but that doesn’t seem to make sense. Anyway, I hope the developers don’t get lazy with a money grab project and instead continually work on the app and the way it works with the blasters because this is a really fun product that is really good but could be great with some improvements.

### 3/5 — I have to leave a review

*2019-04-13, version 1.2.8*

Your app support link isn’t helpful at all so I’m leaving a review to hopefully fix an app issue. The “Radar” power up will not unlock for me. My first run I scored a little over 11,000 and only unlocked the first power up, so I ran it again and got about 1,200 and it still didn’t unlock. My sister ran her’s and scored 1,400 and unlocked both power ups immediately? I reset the app and scored 29,000 and it still won’t unlock. Can you help fix please?

**Developer response:** Thank you for reporting this error. We are looking into what may be causing this behavior. Even though it shows as locked in the Power-Up Unlock screen, are you able to select it before a battle? Does it stay locked after you close the app and restart? What device are you using?

### 3/5 — It’s cool

*2019-03-31, version 1.2.5*

I love the app! But please fix the bug where in a solo drone match the gun stops shooting and the drones can’t kill you!! It is very annoying and I have lost a lot of points that way.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2019-03-26, version 1.2.5*

I love nerf but the 2 big problems i had was u needed 2 or more people to play and picking up the spent ammo. The laser tag guns and this app fix that. I think that you could put in options for single player like zombies or ai players just an idea its already great

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This app is not what i expected!

*2022-09-21, version 1.2.8*

I thought this app was gonna be a battle royale game but I was SO wrong! Instead this app is a drone shooting game? It was and still is advertised as a battle royale. Don't download unless you want to play a drone shooting game!

### 1/5 — Just got it

*2022-01-21, version 1.2.8*

I don’t like the fact I can’t even lay single down layer mood. I gotta have someone else around they have to have a laser gun as well. Y’all need to fix that before selling this. Not everyone wants to play with others

### 1/5 — Nothing on my screen

*2020-05-30, version 1.2.8*

Can someone help... it all works but when the game starts the gun will shoot and they can shoot me but I can’t see anything on my screen nor shoot them so they end up killing me instantly. Does anybody know how to fix this?

### 1/5 — Does not connect

*2020-03-31, version 1.2.8*

Every time my kids and I try to connect with multiple devices it does not allow us to. It takes forever and then says there is no one playing when we are all waiting to link up. Horrible app and you in my opinion. Recoil is way easier to use and way more fun.

### 1/5 — Unsupported app

*2019-07-13, version 1.2.8*

Have been trying to connect two blasters using two iPhones for a multiplayer game. App has never once been able to find the server or launch a game. Looked online for a solution, nothing but poor reviews with the same problems. Get it together nerf. If you’re gonna play in the AR arena, do your due diligence!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-01-27, version 1.2.5*

Lost connection to server, couldn’t find the guns, complaining no battery. To play once you will need to spend 15 minutes and clicking through 1 million buttons. Not good.

### 1/5 — How do I join a game

*2019-01-03, version 1.2.5*

So it is my brother and my first time playing this app and we looked at the instructions and the box and the internet and we CAN NOT find how to JOIN. So we have no clue of how to play this game and no clue how to join!😔

### 2/5 — Looks fun, but can’t connect multiple phones

*2019-03-05, version 1.2.5*

The added app looks like it could add more playability to Laser Ops, but this app is very frustrating trying to connect multiple iPhones. I have made 3 new apple accounts for my sons iPhone 5S, after reading the developer reviews, and still cannot connect multiple devices for these laser blasters.

We can use multiple laser ops blasters on one device, but we really could like to try each having their own device per blaster.

Also, solo player isn’t an option because you need a phone mount for it- which it did NOT include in the 2 pack. Apparently the mount is only included in the single blasters.

This app is almost as disappointing as the Recoil brand... but at least with the Nerf version we do not need to connect any devices, or we could use a single device- but still a let down.

**Developer response:** Can you contact us at https://consumercare.hasbro.com/en-us so we can work with you to troubleshoot? We also have a new version in QA that we hope will solve your connection issue.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t connect to the gun at multiplayer game

*2018-12-25, version 1.2.5*

The app doesn’t connect with the app at the start of a multiplayer game. It shows it is in a game but doesn’t connect to the blaster.

### 2/5 — Constant trouble in multi player

*2018-12-22, version 1.2.5*

Hey nerf team, please reach out to me and let me know why some of the guns do not show points at the end of a multiplayer around. My boys and I have been playing this for a couple weeks now and I’ve yet to be able to record all of our points when we play. This is really frustrating since we want to know who wins. Please reach out to me if you have answers.

**Developer response:** Sorry for your frustration. We are working on a patch to fix this. We will increase the 30-second timer at the end of the round to allow for more time for the blasters to send all the scores. Also, make sure each blaster presses reload at the start of the match as not doing so can sometimes not save the scores.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice

*2022-11-09, version 1.2.8*

Really good I have the app and guns super fun and the fact you don’t need a gun to have fun on the app

### 5/5 — the classic blaster.

*2021-03-17, version 1.2.8*

I have the Laser Ops Classic blaster, and it’s not syncing. Can you update this if you haven’t already to be able to use the classic blasters? They are cheap, but still cost the money. If you can’t for this app, maybe make another where you use the classic blaster? Thanks. Other than that, I give it a 5/5. It’s really fun.

### 5/5 — Update

*2020-05-13, version 1.2.8*

Awesome addition to nerf. Please update this for the ion blasters and continue this wave, thanks!

### 5/5 — GPS

*2020-02-16, version 1.2.8*

### 5/5 — My kids love it

*2019-12-30, version 1.2.8*

My kids used to be on video games but now that play everyday

### 5/5 — Wow so good!!!!!!!!!

*2019-03-02, version 1.2.5*

I got an arsenal of 32 guns for all 32 siblings we had to do separate matches sadly. But one of my siblings urinated on one of the guns and it still worked! I didn’t even know they were water proof 10 out of 10!!!!!💖💖❤️🧡💜💙💞💕💝💛

### 5/5 — AWESOME

*2019-01-28, version 1.2.5*

When I hear about laser ops pro and how it works, my mind was immediately racing. This is perfect for any time where you want to have a nerf war, but don’t want to pick up darts or have a high risk of losing a lot of darts. I told my friends about it and together we collected 10 blasters. They all work great, and my friends and I had an entire nerf war dedicated to laser tag. It was a blast, but what we found was the most fun was using extra blaster as capture points. To capture it, you would shoot the blaster until it was out, and then you would switch it you your own team. We ended up playing a large scale conquest game, with 5 capture points, and it was a frenzy. I think that laser ops pro has a lot of potential but I am a little concerned. There hasn’t been any talk of new blasters, and there hasn’t been a new update in 2 months. I think there are a few things that could be done to make this better like being able to set the health amount to something specific for everyone, or a limited reload and limited lives. You could also make a command hub to sell, that can be captured or used as a respawn point. And perhaps even be able to be worn, so that a person with a dart gun can tag people with laser tag guns and people with laser tag guns could shoot the receiver worn on the dart persons chest, allowing for cross compatibility. I think there is a lot of potential for this, and I would really like to see more in the future!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the great feedback and ideas. We are very happy to hear how much you enjoy it.
