Got talked into upgrading to Nero HomeMedia that they offered as a replacement, telling me I would be able to stream to my ipod and iphone when this app came out. Well, you can't. Not unless you are ready to fork out 30 pounds for the priviledge, which they don't tell you upfront. The version I had before worked fine, although it didn't have the steam to device capability either. However, it didn't keep failing and needing to restart like the newer version of Nero MediaHome does every few minutes. So the download of this app is indeed free - but to actually use it will cost you 30 pounds. Can't click anything. No manu entries to open the server. The text in the store entry refers to things that don't exist in the app. Flat-out useless. ### 1/5 — Can’t see miniDLNA UPnP server *2026-02-04* I have miniDLNA based multimedia server. In my case, I'm testing the App without the mothership MediaHome being installed on my Windows 8.1 computer by playing MP4 video from my computer to my iPhone 5s. I get video but no audio. Works fine if I rip and send the video to m4v, which is my phone's format.
