## What is Nested Uplist?

NestedUplist is more than a to-do list. It is a flexible planning app built to help you turn big goals into clear next steps.

Use it for everyday tasks, long-term goals, projects, routines, checklists, study plans, event planning, and anything else that works better when simplified into smaller parts. Create a simple list, build a deep nested plan, or move items around as your priorities change. Each item can stand on its own or become part of something bigger, so your system can stay simple when you need it and detailed when you want it.

NestedUplist helps you see progress, not just tasks. "Parent" items track completion across their "children," making it easier to understand how far you have come and what still needs attention. Priority marking, search, and multiple ways to view your information help keep important work easy to find. The app currently supports list, tile, and template-focused views, plus searchable items and templates.

You can also create your own templates with customizable '@keys' from your own lists and reuse them whenever and however you want for semi-customized or repeatable task lists. Built-in templates help you get started fast, but the template system is designed to be optional and adaptable rather than restrictive. You can browse built-in templates, filter them by category, search them, use them as-is, or duplicate them into your own editable copy.

That makes NestedUplist a strong fit whether you are planning a wedding, organizing a party, building a garden plan, staying on top of college work, creating a study system, learning a new skill, mapping out a career path, or designing your own personal workflow. The structure is there when you need it, but the words, templates, and organization can still be your own.

Privacy you can verify.
Our apps do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, data brokers, or third-party service connections. We encourage every user to turn on Apple’s App Privacy Report to compare this for themselves.
To enable App Privacy Report on iPhone or iPad, open Settings > Privacy & Security > App Privacy Report > Turn On App Privacy Report. After you use the app iOS will show the network domains contacted by the app.
For our apps, expected network activity should be limited to Apple-operated services needed for normal App Store, iCloud, device, or system functionality.
We believe privacy claims should be inspectable, not merely promised.

Performance & Reliability
• Your lists now save immediately after every action — no more data loss if the app is closed mid-session

Templates
• Template placeholder substitution is now more reliable — values you fill in can no longer accidentally trigger other replacements
• Your custom prompt questions are preserved even if you temporarily remove a placeholder from the template and add it back
• Saving a template with the same name as an existing one now asks for confirmation instead of silently creating a duplicate
• The "Use Template" parent picker now clearly marks completed items so you don't accidentally nest new content inside a finished list
• Searching templates now finds matches in tags and descriptions, not just names
• Category filters now work correctly regardless of capitalization

Lists
• New filter bar on the List tab: quickly switch between All, Active, and Favorites
• Added a helpful prompt when your list is empty
• The Undo action now tells you exactly which item was affected — e.g. "Undo Delete 'Grocery Run'"
• Priority actions are now fully undoable, including the automatic reordering that happens when you star a root item
• The organize menu icon fills in when Detailed View is on, so the current state is always visible at a glance

Accessibility Improvements
• VoiceOver now correctly announces the Complete, Expand/Collapse, and Priority buttons throughout the app
• The tile rearrange animation is disabled when Reduce Motion is on in Accessibility settings

Polish
• The brightness slider in the color editor snaps to center with a lighter touch — fine-tuning values near the middle is no longer blocked
• Fixed the Priority label that showed the same text for both starring and un-starring an item
• Brighter app icon

• Import preview now shows why a template can't be imported before you commit, so you can spot problems without aborting the flow.
