## What is Nesty?

3am. One hand. Logged in two taps. That is the whole design brief for Nesty, a baby and child tracker for ages 0 to 7, built to be used in the dark on a phone held by the same arm as the baby.

Two taps, then back to bed
The three things you log at night — feed, sleep, diaper — are one tile each, low on the screen where your thumb already rests, on a dark surface that does not light up the room.

Feeding, timed the way feeding actually goes
Left and right are separate timers. Pause one, start the other, come back to the first: Nesty adds up the minutes you actually fed, not the minutes the phone spent in your pocket. Put the phone down and both sides pause on their own. Open it again after a restart and the session is still there with the right totals. Bottles go in as ml or oz, and a combo feed keeps breast time and bottle volume on the same entry.

A sleep session that crosses midnight
Start a nap or a night sleep and it runs until you stop it, through the small hours and through a restart. In the morning the start time is the real one, which matters because everything else you want to know is counted from it.

When the next nap is likely
Nesty takes your child's age and the time they last woke, applies the wake window that is typical at that age, and shows the next likely nap on the home screen. A quiet notification arrives ahead of it, so you can dim the room before the overtired crying instead of after it. The card says plainly what it is: average guidance from typical wake windows.

Diapers, one tap
Wet, dirty or both, saved the moment you tap. A colour note is there if you want it and skipped if you don't.

Growth on the WHO curves
Height and weight are plotted against the WHO Child Growth Standards for boys or girls, in kg and cm or lb and in, so you can read the percentile as a trend at home, days before the appointment.

The handover card
The top of the home screen answers what everyone actually asks: when the last feed was and what it was, how long the last sleep ran and when it ended, plus the initials of whoever logged them. Two lines, no scrolling, no arithmetic at 3am.

Everyone gets their own account
There is no shared login. Invite a partner, a grandparent or a sitter with a link or a QR code that works once and expires after 72 hours. From then on every entry carries the name of whoever made it and reaches the other phones within seconds.

Written to the device first
On a plane, in an underground car park, in a nursery with one bar of signal: the entry is saved locally and sent when the connection returns. Nesty also tells you plainly when something is still only on this phone.

Fix what you tapped half asleep
Undo the last entry, correct a time, or step back to yesterday and add the feed you slept through.

The week, in three charts
Weekly sleep, weekly feeds and weekly diaper changes, each with a daily average, so a hard week is something you can see instead of something you argue about.

Before the pediatrician
Choose 7, 14 or 30 days, or any range you like, and export a clean PDF summary: total feeds, bottle volume, sleep sessions, total sleep, diaper changes and the latest measurement. The same range exports as CSV.

On your wrist and your home screen
The home-screen widget shows the last entry at a glance, and a tap opens the right screen. Apple Watch logs a feed, a sleep or a diaper from the wrist, and anything logged out of range syncs itself later.

Full history, PDF and CSV export, the Apple Watch app, up to 5 caregivers and up to 5 child profiles are part of Nesty

Ages 0 to 7, in 16 languages, in metric or imperial.

Nesty supports your parenting; it is not medical advice. Wake windows and WHO growth references are guidance, not a diagnosis. Talk to your pediatrician about your child's health.
