It said it was updating, but after 3 days, nothing. I don’t like starting a new book when I haven’t been able to finish the first one. So decided to delete app, no desire to go through this again. No book should be loaded to a website if it’s not done!!!!! ### 4/5 — Too long waiting for more chapters to read to be uploaded *2026-07-27* I got hooked on a book and read it day and night for what they say is 100 chapters. It’s been over a week and they have not added any more chapters. I really want to finish this book and find another good book. The ads aren’t as intrusive as some. This app has two levels of ads. There are quite a few single page ads that you can scroll past immediately. There were a few instances where the storyline repeated a paragraph or to but because the story was so engaging it was no big deal. Whoever stole it changed names of people and places, but the story is the same. I know this because it stops at the point where the original author stopped adding to another website. She moved to Inkitt and has completed the story as well as filling in missing information. Also the title has nothing to do with the story except there is an alpha and he does make contracts with others. ### 1/5 — Lies,not free!! *2026-06-22, version v2.2.0* So you only get to read the first chapter or two before they send you endless to buy more pages. So after every 5 pages you have to watch or pay for this service. I am ending this service ### 1/5 — Chapters appear to be missing *2026-05-24* I liked the app at first. I began a book I had seen a video ad for. I was enjoying it until I reached chapter 8. Suddenly it was as if there was an entire chapter missing. I thought “ok, maybe it will explain the missing info later” and tried to carry on. However every 2-3 chapters, it would happen again. Like a whole chapter was just pulled from the story. By chapter 16 I completely gave up and deleted the app. Pro: it really Is free to read and the ads are minimal compared to other apps I’ve used. ### 1/5 — Unreadable *2026-05-14, version v2.1.0* And stops the book mid-story. Waste of time/energy. Very poorly written. ### 1/5 — The content is either AI generated or stolen *2026-05-14* Same story with way fewer typos found on another app, this one is missing chapters of it and they changed some of the names which I assume was a word replacement as stuttered names were bizarre with the original names first letter. Based on incompletion and terrible editing it looks like trying to profit from a terrible edit of anothers work, not sure if AI generated but the original names from the story are needed for one part to make sense and the name of a main character is slipped up so it really looks like a bad edit, not very readable with many missing chapters leaving holes in the story. ### 1/5 — Netfic *2026-04-29, version v2.0.0* Paid for unlimited reading and couldn’t get past chapter 12. BS. I want a refund…. ### 1/5 — Unfortunately *2026-03-19* I gave the app one star, I started reading this really good book during the ads and naturally I clicked on it to download it and updated it as well but unfortunately I never got pass the first main screen, kept saying connection isn’t working or whatever? I know my connection is working really well and I have 5G so I don’t know what is the problem but I really would love to continue the book but to no avail still couldn’t get pass that screen.
