But what i see in the app doesn’t match. What?! Fixed - by myself. I had the device working and internet connection, I could not get the App to work with it. A long Chat session with my local ISP supplier did not resolve the issue and I was given authority to have the MR 6110 replaced. As a last resort I removed the device SIM, cleaned the SIM contacts and reinstalled the SIM and App now works successfully and easily with the device, the combination is good. ### 3/5 — Keeps asking for password *2025-10-22, version 7.18.2311.206* Not bad but obnoxious as it keeps asking for a password even though it is already filled in and trying to authenticate. ### 2/5 — Accessibility is Bad *2025-08-11, version 7.18.2311.206* Please test using VoiceOver. The web UI works and is great so I don't understand why the app is so atrocious for screen-reader accessibility. But, honestly, you're not missing much without the app, except for push notifications for new alerts/messages. If only the device could email them to you instead … and there's no function for composing a new text, which is trouble when you want to activate a package by text message, which you have to do sometimes. ### 3/5 — Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro 5G Wi-Fi 6E Hotspot Router (MR6550) – Honest Review *2025-06-30, version 7.18.2311.206* The interface is adequate for basic device management and setup, though nothing exceptional. Performance is decent when the device is cool, but it tends to overheat easily, especially during extended use or when multiple devices are connected. Battery life is a major drawback — it drains quickly, takes too long to recharge, and frustratingly doesn’t seem to accept charging from a power bank, which limits portability. The most frustrating issue is a persistent bug in the app: between sessions, the Terms and Services page constantly pops up with no way to close or bypass it. The only workaround I’ve found is to force close the app entirely from my iPhone. I’ve kept the app updated, but the problem remains. This software does a great job of making the important info hard to find. On my main screen in windows 11 (Chrome browser) iPad OS, and iPhone OS I want to see the power status, the signal quality, and the SNR WITHOUT logging in AND right there in the easiest to access location. Don’t let the programmers design your interface. Really underwhelmed by the software experience of this modem/router. Hardware seems good so far, but a little more thirsty of power than what I’d like, but good result so far. Sometimes (but not always) the interface is kind enough to provide the following embarrassingly flawed error message in red: ‘The password length should be 8 and 63 characters long’ This logically impossible and erroneous password length requirement suggests the bug may relate to an error introduced to password field validation during an update. Apparently sometime in the past year?
