Funciona muy bien. Permite configurar zonas con fotos y ajustar riegos fácilmente. Hace lo que se le pide. Sin embargo, echo en falta más flexibilidad: (1) poder programar 1.5 minutos en vez de 1 o 2 (diferencia en consumo a lo largo del año); (2) poder regar simultáneamente varias zonas, en vez de ir una por una, para mayor rapidez. Las dos cosas se pueden solucionar a nivel software.

The redesigned delay function is still confusing. Instead of adding a box to select “including today” or the number of days, why not just choose the number of programmed watering cycles to delay, up to 30. This makes it clear and easy for those who have shorter watering cycles but have programmed to water two or more times daily.

The Scheduling section under Preferences is pointless, why not just incorporate everything under Programs, as this seem to handle most of the user’s setting for watering? Having both of these also can cause confusion and creates a poorer experience (an experience which iOS users typically don’t deal with)

I provided feedback over 3 years ago that I’m using Hunter Rotor nozzles that makes watering more efficient and effective and need to run each zone for at least 2 hours for deep soaking. The app allows me to select the nozzle type but doesn’t seem to make a difference to the run time. The maximum run time is still 60 mins. It shouldn’t take a lot of effort to change this max and after a few years there’s still no change.  My gardener says my lawn is too dry so I’m seriously considering switching to Wyze Sprinkler next year since they under the concept of deep soaking (based on reviews, complaint is over watering). Hopefully, the developers will take this feedback more seriously and allow for longer watering duration.

As said, this app doesn’t send notifications when a program or station has run like other smart wifi controllers I have had which is very disappointing

The sensor is a great product but the hourly data is split between AM and PM and separate screens for some mysterious reason. Also, scrolling on the other data plot pages crashes the app.

I’ve been using an IoT watering device for years- one key advantage SHOULD be intuitive setup and use.  In this case, as Mick Jagger sang, “honey, it’s not one of those.”  The company that made my original IoT controller apparently went out of business, and suddenly there was a monthly charge for remote access (another key feature).  I wish I had picked a different device to replace it, maybe the software would have been less bad than this.

I just opened my Netro app for the first time since last fall. Why can I no longer manually activate a zone from the main page??  Plus, when I set off a zone from the programs page, the main page doesn’t show it being run.  What’s going on??

The app only stores 23 days of data.  I mean it’s okay and at least it isn’t super China, but I would expect some better historical data and some connections to other brand watering devices like orbit or rainbird at the very least.   It’s pretty good for ultra dry climates, but it could be better.

Il meteo dell’app va a ca@@i sua. Oggi dava 100% pioggia e non c’è mai stata una nuvola ( ma poco importa). Il problema più grande è la connessione alla rete. Ogni santissima volta che va via la corrente il controller non si collega più al wi-fi e bisogna ogni volta fare il reset. Fare in modo che si possa fare direttamente dal cellulare no eh!

If you don’t speak Chinese and don’t want to learn how, don’t buy this horribly supported sprinkler system.  I used to love it, but I can no longer contact anyone and I can’t understand their manual.  

Whose password is whose? For what?  What location is what? 

 Too much confusion, I will probably buy a different system!

You can’t delete the app and start over!  It is a very odd system now!

This thing is absolute garbage. Can’t do any troubleshooting on the sprinklers because it routes everything through a remote server that never works. 
Low quality connectors for the wiring.

I have used the Netro sprinkler system for couple years and it seems like pretty nice product, however the story changed after they launched the new app, the new app design is awful and not user friendly, you can’t tell which sprinkler head is working and can’t even stop it running, the new app makes the product very hard to use. I’m very disappointed, I want the old feature back, or have to switch to another smart sprinkler system, so far, not recommending anyone to use it.

Muy contento con este controlador. Riego automatizado y manual a la perfección. Variadas opciones para programar el riego e incluso modificarlo según condiciones climáticas. Hay que asegurarse de que en la zona de instalación, llegue bien la señal wifi para que todo funcione bien. Más de año y medio de riegos sin problemas y todo desde el móvil independientemente de dónde estés.
Solo pediría a Netro, el poder alterar el orden de regado de las zonas con un simple drag and drop porque puede ser necesario y útil querer empezar los riegos en orden distinto al numérico.

I have used the system for more than four years and it works flawless. Once setup, smart feature works as.expected, rarely check every year.

Love the powerful and smooth app. It suppprts various weather provider, I select the the closet PWS, very accurate. It support many smart mode, the new plant is great for new grass, update to regular mode later. Rain delay is super cool too.

Edit: I haven't experienced a crash in many months now, but I also don't really have to maintain the system at all so I barely use the app. Everything works!

Overall the app has been working well. I've experienced a few crashes, but they all happened when I was renaming zones.

Everything has been great otherwise. This is far superior to the sprinkler controller I had on the wall before.

I wanted to replace old Hunter system. The Racchio was nice but very pricey. I bought Netro and havent been disappointed at all! You don't need a screen on the unit which drives up cost. Everything is done on the App. I did have some questions which were answered quickly.  I love taking pictures of each zone and being able to choose from a huge plant database.  Each zone has many options like shade and degree of slope.  I created a restriction to limit the hours of watering to overnight so system is never on during the daytime. 

You won't be disappointed. Don't be put off by low price, this has all the features you need.
