### 2/5 — Not ok

*2026-02-15, version 3.1.0*

Cannot send text sms verification, is it because my number is not singapore number?

### 3/5 — Option to remember card details

*2026-02-04, version 3.0.9*

Why did the auto card details removed? It was so convenient until you removed it again. Do you understand how troublesome it is to enter the card details every time when topping up. Kindly make this function available again. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2026-01-24, version 3.0.9*

One of the worst app I have ever used in the App Store. How is it possible that a company of this size that plays such an important role in Singapore society as its serving so many aspects of our daily life, parking, transportation and much more, is SOOOO BAAAD
I mean, who designed this?

Half of the time it’s not working and the UX is so bad, it’s dry hard to understand how to use it.

In order to problem solve something you have to call in and talk to someone.

Please. We deserve better!

### 1/5 — Loading

*2026-01-21, version 3.0.9*

Recently this apps freeze so much on iphone 16 pro max. Poor service and doesn’t deserve a single star too

### 1/5 — Slow

*2026-01-19, version 3.0.9*

Slow apps..waste time

### 1/5 — Credit card details not auto filled

*2026-01-17, version 3.0.9*

Till now still no improvement. Other apps already include Apple Pay as payment method.

You have to fill in your credit card details every time you want to top-up the nets card. This issue was posted a year ago in the app review and till now it’s still not been fixed! Such a basic hygiene feature for payment platform. It’s a disgrace.

In addition, they have the cheek to charge $1 for OTP to add card to payment method without informing you! The alert that a $1 charge is incurred is sent in the same message as the OTP.

Plus, there is ANOTHER $1 charge when updating credit card info in payment method. And even after charging $1 for updating the card info, you still have to key in the card details every time you want to top-up! This is daylight robbery and should be reported to CASE.

### 1/5 — Amazingly bad

*2026-01-10*

Given the major role that NETS plays in Singapore, this app is amazingly poorly designed. Every time I open the app I have to log in manually - I turn on Face ID every time, but it doesn’t stick. Then, the app interface is littered with auto scrolling ads for services I don’t want, and the things I do want are buried. I can’t delete old cards. I get an email and an in-app notification for every single transaction - no way to turn this off. Seriously terrible UI all around. I would avoid the app and NETS altogether if that was possible.

### 1/5 — Stuck at Otp error

*2025-11-25, version 3.0.8*

Need otp email, okay fine. Next you want otp phone, error error error. Uninstall. Dont bother with this apps guys

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2025-11-21, version 3.0.8*

couldn’t even get a basic app to work properly. The payment page kept loading and refreshing, and the transaction wouldn’t go through. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but after logging out I realised I’d forgotten my password. When I tried to reset it, the same issue happened, pressing “submit” just refreshed the page. In the end, I couldn’t even log in. Ironically, checking out as a guest worked without any issues. It’s really frustrating.

Also, AT LEAST please allow users to copy and paste their credit card numbers. Many people don’t carry their physical cards anymore, and it’s really inconvenient to switch between apps just to manually type in the card details.

Whoever is the product manager please wake up!!

### 1/5 — Can’t tick terms and condition checkbox

*2025-11-16, version 3.0.8*

i can’t check the terms and condition box event though i’ve tried to uninstall the app etc

### 1/5 — Horrendous UX

*2025-11-02*

Honestly this is UX is god awful. Govt should do something about this. Allow payment by Apple Pay etc . Wasting our time

### 3/5 — $50 ATU Limit Is Too Low/Troublesome to Just Update Credit Card Details

*2025-11-01, version 3.0.8*

I use auto top up for my car’s OBU, but max top up is only $50. Nets should increase this to $100 as $50 is just too little. The amount gets used up fast and the OBU keeps beeping when value left hits below $5. Worse of all, it will only do the auto top up when the $4 is used up. So please increase the limit to $100 at least. Also, just got told my ATU registration was unsuccessful. But no reason given or what I should do next. Only gave me a number to call. Buts as you know, these hotlines numbers make you wait forever as no one picks up!
Update: To update my credit card details so ATU still works, I have to re-register everything, including address and Flash card numbers. I can’t just update my card details. This is troublesome!

### 1/5 — The rating speaks for itself

*2025-10-12*

Highly unreliable and some faults cannot be addressed in a timely manner

### 1/5 — It’s Only Good For Taking Your Money

*2025-10-10, version 3.0.8*

It’s only good for top-up. You can’t do anything else with it eg transfer balance from expired card, de-register auto-up, get help via chat bot. You are advised to go to their customer service centre or to go to selected top up stations for certain services and I can’t find the directory for the locations of said stations. Seems like I would need to go around trying my luck until I find one. It’s ridiculous. Regarding the chat bot, it can talk type or manual type, but you can’t amend typos or make corrections/edit your sentence! The delete function doesn’t work in the middle of your sentence, only at the end of the last word. If you make a mistake midway that you realised only after you have finished typing, you have to start all over again. Terrible app.

### 1/5 — Dumb apps slow loading

*2025-09-17, version 3.0.7*

Slow keep crashing

### 1/5 — Worst app ever created

*2025-09-01, version 3.0.7*

The worst app ever I have in my phone! Can’t see a single details of cards link to auto top up. Full of rubbish advertisements. Card lost call to call centre still need to reply with email to stop ppl from misusing it only 48 hours later! Cs still tell me the lost from your card including the auto top up is your liability. Hello, I reported immediately and need to wait 48 hours for ppl to misuse?!Total bs app. Pls don’t download. Use ezlink or simply go better. Seriously developer need to do something about it. Best is to delete this app from App Store.

### 1/5 — Difficult to log in and not functional

*2025-07-14, version 3.0.3*

Difficult to log in and not functional

### 1/5 — App crashing after CVV input

*2025-07-12, version 3.0.3*

Been using this app for the longest of time, besides it being slow and buggy, it was still a lifesaver for Flashpay top up. Until today, when everything is went haywire, as usual, Top-Up, scan card, input CVV… Everything single time I hit submit, the app just crashes. I’ve tried closing the app, redownloading the app, turning my phone off and on again and done it over 10x, still doesn’t work. Considering it’s, as far as I know, the only online top-up service for a FlashPay card, the instability is horrifying.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2025-07-11, version 3.0.3*

This app is very unreliable especially the auto top up. It works only once a while and you won’t know why it didn’t work. Many times stuck in gantry simply because it refuses to auto top up by itself.

I also got to re log in each and every time u open the app.

Hopefully the programmers can work to solve the auto top up issue because we only have one app to use for cashcard top up, with new IU unit being at the side it’s so inconvenient to take in and out the cashcard.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App with logic from 1990s

*2026-05-31, version 3.1.1*

One of the worst apps in terms of logic and workflow. Here are the issues which NETS never bothered to fix:
(1) Every time I top up the Flashpay card, I need to enter CVV of the credit card configured in this App. In other modern Apps I can make purchases for few hundred dollars and it will charge to my credit card without having to enter CVV.
(2) So much so is their security that I get SMS alert about auto-top up after 2 days from transaction date 😜
(3) Maximum auto top up amount is $50 and worse is that there must be 3 days gap between each auto top. These days parking charges are high and $50 will not last for even 2 days. I had embarrassing situations where auto topup failed while exiting car park because previous topup was < 3 days. I had to put the gear in parking mode, pull out the Flashpay card from IU, take the mobile phone, open the NETS app, find out the credit card used in the NETS app, pull out my wallot from back pocket, search and take out the correct credit card, enter the CVV in the App, top up and put the Flashpay card into IU while amused drivers behind me honking.
(4) If card value is low, ERP2 IU keeps giving annoying alert tone whenever you start the car. But auto top up will happen only if the card balance is lower than the amount to be paid at the gantry. Instead auto topup should happen when ever card balance is below the minimum amount IU expects.
In summary, this is an App with annoying Kiasu logic.

### 1/5 — It’s like they don’t care

*2026-05-28*

Can’t delete old cards. Face ID icon still looks like a finger print. This company charges 50 cents for every transaction and puts out an app that looks like it’s from 2010

### 1/5 — System error

*2026-05-20, version 3.1.1*

Keep showing system error when try to top up. Need to try few times. Need some improvement on system

### 1/5 — First impression

*2026-05-19, version 3.1.1*

Can’t use AMEX as the CVV field only has 3 digits and keeps timing out on the master card.

### 1/5 — Card block issue

*2026-05-09, version 3.1.1*

I am extremely disappointed with NET’s mobile platform service. The system design is poor and the overall service quality is unacceptable.

In today’s digital era, many simple functions should easily be handled through a mobile platform. However, your system still requires customers to personally visit the service counter to resolve issues that should be manageable online. This is very difficult to understand.

Firstly, the Auto Top Up function on the platform is poorly designed. Users are unable to update the expiry date of their registered credit card through the mobile platform. Because of this limitation, once the automatic deduction fails due to an expired card, the card will be locked by the system.

What is even more unreasonable is that even if customers make the payment online afterward, the system still cannot unlock the card. Customers are still required to visit the company counter in person to resolve the issue.

Such an inconvenient system with such poor user experience raises serious concerns about the professionalism behind its design and management. I strongly urge NET to review and improve its mobile platform system in order to provide a level of service that meets the standards expected in today’s digital age.

### 1/5 — I wish I could rate this minus 5

*2026-04-06, version 3.1.0*

Absolutely useless app.
I don’t know who is responsible for this app, but it’s a National embarrassment.
Singapore is amazing - this app is shameful

### 1/5 — Obsolete / high friction / clunkiest payment app out there

*2026-03-22, version 3.1.0*

Considering this app is used by most motorists in the costliest place on earth to own a car, this is a horrible part of the ownership experience. Specifically I refer to the cashcard payment and how it’s so hard to get the card to be read. There’s also no way to save credit card details so this needs to be entered for every single session. And then the card needs to be swiped afterwards. Please reflect on user experience and get proper industry perspective.

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THEIR AUTO TOP UP

*2026-02-12, version 3.0.9*

DO NOT USE THEIR AUTO TOP UP. It never works when you need it. Also, they blocked my card when the credit card for the auto top up expired. When asked if they can simply deduct it from the new credit card I registered on the app, they told me that the card is already blocked and I have to physically go down to their office to unblock it. There is no online solution, to get a refund you have to go down to a Simplygo ticket office. Nobody does business like this. This is already 2026 with AI taking over the world and yet we have a national payment platform operating like a third world country.

Update: Went down to their office in Braddell on 11 Feb to pay the $50 auto top up that I owe them. They said they unblocked my card and can be used in two days. The staff also helped me send an email using my phone (strange right?) to their internal team to request for refund of my $50 ATU deposit (I pay you so that you can pay me later). Told me that I will only get the refund back in ONE MONTH! World class efficiency.

Following day, replied my email saying that the card is blocked and I need to pay the $50 via bank transfer and surrender the NFP card to a SimplyGo office. Texted them on their online messaging and they apologized for miscommunication.

This company clearly has no proper record keeping and processes to follow. A total mess and they are clearly not interested in your business or your experience as a customer. Unfortunately they have monopoly now but I hope that ends soon.

### 1/5 — Unreliable and useless!

*2026-02-02, version 3.0.9*

What’s the point of having an app that has errors most of the time. I cannot top up and I cannot add a new credit card.

This is a joke!

### 1/5 — So Buggy

*2026-01-28, version 3.0.9*

So full of bugs ; can’t even do a basic thing like sign in. I’ve reinstalled the app twice. Gives me so many error messages like my email and password is not recognised (it’s correct), OTP not recognised (it’s correct). It keeps telling me to do captchas and there’s no button to verify or submit.

I still haven’t been able to sign into my account after 45 min. I think I’ll just get rid of my nets cards since this is a really buggy app in 2026

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Trash

*2026-02-22, version 3.1.0*

Bunch of dumb dogs with an outdated app that doesnt work at all. Cant register all of my nets flashpay cards and manual top up shows transaction went through in my bank but no amount reflected on the card. Avoid this steaming hot pile of garbage at all costs.

Just do yourselves a favour and wind down. Bring in a China company that can do this properly.

### 5/5 — One the least user friendly app

*2024-12-07, version 3.0.1*

Seriously this is one of the worst user experience I have come across for a payment app.
I can understand the need to have checks to prevent fraud, but honestly the top up process is so cumbersome that I end up topping up the max amount so that I don’t have to deal with this-> this incidentally increases my risks …
Come on guys! I am sure you can do better than that…

### 5/5 — Useful

*2023-11-11, version 1.2.0*

Very useful. As I can auto topup or manually topup the nets flashpay card just by using the apps and placing my flashpay behind my phone. No need to search for atm or cash card top up machine. However, there is room for improvements like don’t make us key in the credit number every time all over again for top up

### 5/5 — Does exactly what it needs to

*2023-02-03, version 1.1.0*

Really impressed. Stuck in a carpark with no debit card I was able to top up my flash pay with NFC card and the app even discouraged me from signing up for an account I didn’t need. More apps should be like this! Well done.

### 5/5 — Okayishh

*2022-12-06, version 1.0.9*

Was skeptical using the app given bad reviews. Card scan requires you to know where the nfc chip is located in your phone. I fumbled abit initially could not do the first scan but after some testing found scanning my card near the top part of my iphone 8plus works more consistently.
I do not have any timeouts etc when keying in card info and then otp like others say.
I find this is convenient in the event I cannot find where the machine is located for carparks.
I think maybe the initial releases of the app was buggy long ago but i feel it has improved since.
I have topped up my nets card thru the app quite a few times already with few/no issues. Card scan being the only one depending on phones nfc chip.

### 5/5 — Smooth, simple and user friendly!

*2022-11-24, version 1.0.9*

I'm not exactly the most tech savvy person but honestly I found the app quite simple and straightforward. No more worrying about locating a working cashcard topup machine!

Not sure why the other reviews were so negative (perhaps they were based on earlier, yet-to-be-refined versions) but i definitely will use this app again and again!

### 5/5 — 🆗👍🏼

*2022-08-21, version 1.0.7*

Functioning well with iPhone 12, just like T&G NFC Card in Malaysia.

### 5/5 — So convenient

*2021-11-25*

Just found out about this app. Glad I can use it to easily check my card balance and top up! I used to have to do this at the ATM.

Note that you can’t use this on the iPad to check balance or top up manually. Can only do that on the iPhone.

### 5/5 — Agreement check button not checkable

*2021-11-03, version 1.0*

The agreement check button was not checkable after install on my iPhone and as such cannot proceed to use the App. Remove and Reinstall a few time with the same results.

I found an workaround which paired a Bluetooth keyboard to my iPhone and managed to check the agreement button and complete the setup.

I have also tried top-up $10 to my new flashcard. The process was ended with error on the first try although fund was deducted from my credit card. But when I reconnect the flashcard to it, it was smart enough to push the pending top up through to the flashcard. It was finally done successfully and impressive.

### 4/5 — So close

*2024-02-22*

Fantastic to be able to top up my cash card in the car for car parks and ERP. However, every time I do a top up it asks me for my credit card info again. Even though I’ve provided that info under payment methods in my profile. Would be great if I can just select one of my pre-entered cards instead of re-entering the details. Or add support for Apple Pay, that would achieve the same goal of making it quick and easy to top up my card.

**Developer response:** Hi FIXpro, to use one of your saved credit cards on NETS App to top up NETS FlashPay card, you will need to login to your NETS Account. Please follow these steps to login: 1. Launch NETS App, on the top right corner, there is a human icon, select it and "Sign in". 2. Scroll down and select "Already have an account? Sign in"
